Class-9 November 22, 2017 The last days of Nabi : In the last days of nabi عليه صلى وسلمhe couldn’t go to the masjid although his house was near to the mosque. So he asked Ayesha radi Allahu anha to ask abu bakr Radi Allahu anhu to lead the prayer. She said to the prophet, not my father as he is very soft and if he will lead the prayer then he will cry, let umar Radi Allahu anhu lead the prayer. But nabi صلى عليه وسلمsaid, “no, let abu bakr radi Allahu anhu lead the prayer.” We mentioned this because certain group of people say that abu bakr radi allahu anhu put himself in the position of authority and Ayesha wanted it to happen. But this incident shows otherwise. Once in the fajr prayer, he عليه صلى وسلمput the curtain aside and he saw abu bakr getting ready to lead the prayer, when he went to join them. Abu bakr Radi Allahu anhu moved aside, and said to nabi عليه صلى وسلمto lead the prayer. He didn’t want to lead the prayer in presence of nabi عليه صلى وسلم.But nabi عليه صلى وسلمtold him to lead the prayer. And he was smiling while abu bakr Radi Allahu anhu was leading the prayer. In the last days when he was sick, he asked for siwak. Ayesha Radi Allahu anha took the siwak and moistened it and gave it to him to use it. She used to be happy by saying nabi in his last days, he got my sliva in his mouth. The last days of Nabi :

In the last days of nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه he couldn’t go to the masjid although his house was

near to the mosque. So he asked Ayesha radi Allahu anha to ask abu bakr Radi Allahu anhu

to lead the prayer. She said to the prophet, not my father as he is very soft and if he will

lead the prayer then he will cry, let umar Radi Allahu anhu lead the prayer. But nabi صلى هللا

وسلمعليه said, “no, let abu bakr radi Allahu anhu lead the prayer.”

We mentioned this because certain group of people say that abu bakr radi allahu anhu put

himself in the position of authority and Ayesha wanted it to happen. But this incident

shows otherwise.

Once in the fajr prayer, he وسلمصلى هللا عليه put the curtain aside and he saw abu bakr

getting ready to lead the prayer, when he went to join them. Abu bakr Radi Allahu anhu

moved aside, and said to nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه to lead the prayer. He didn’t want to lead the

prayer in presence of nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه .But nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه told him to lead the

prayer. And he was smiling while abu bakr Radi Allahu anhu was leading the prayer.

In the last days when he was sick, he asked for siwak. Ayesha Radi Allahu anha took the

siwak and moistened it and gave it to him to use it. She used to be happy by saying nabi in

his last days, he got my sliva in his mouth. While in last days, he use to look up and say rafiq

Allah, the highest companion and he passed away and he وسلمصلى هللا عليه said my death

agony is double than any human being in the world.

After the death of nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه , Ayesha use to be at the home of nabi صلى هللا عليه

وسلمصلى هللا عليه At the time of abu bakr, the wives of nabi .وسلم asked for the inheritance

but Ayesha radi allahu anha said that prophets don’t leave inheritance. Abu bakr radi allahu

anhu stayed in khilafa for three years and he died at the same age in which nabi صلى هللا

وسلمعليه passed away, while he was 63. Ayesha radi allahu anha took care of her father in

his last days, he was sick for 15 days. She use to recite poems to him and use to replace it

with ayahs of quran. One of the poem she recited, “No richness will stay at the time of

death.” But abu bakr said,” I give you a gift and in my heart bring it back to the

inheritance.”

Abu bakr said, while I was khalifa, I didn’t take a dirham from the money of muslimeen. And

he passed away. Umar bin khattab said,” Rahim Allah abu bakr sideeq, he made it difficult

for people who will come after him”

At the time of umar bin khattab Radi allahu anhu, Ayesha radi Allahu anha started giving

fatwa to men. Well-known sahaba, if they didn’t know about any issue, they use to go to

Ayesha and ask her. Especially regarding marriage, relationship issues. She grew in

knowledge at the time of umar bin khattab. Ayesha radi Allahu anha had good saying

about umar bin khattab. She said, “people use to get inspired from people before you, and

now umar bin khattab is an inspiration.”

She said, “ shaitan runs away from umar bin khattab”.

Umar bin khattab got killed while he was praying. He was stabbed then people took him to

his house. Before dying umar bin khattab asked his son seek permission from Ayesha that I

want to be buried next to my two friends. Ayesha had kept that place for her, she wanted

to be buried next to nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه and her father. Umar said to his son, say umar

send salam to you, don’t say ameer ul momineen because then she will take it as a

command and ask her as a request.” Ayesha said, “I wanted this place for myself but I

preferred him over myself.” They went to umar and informed him that she agreed, and he

said allhumdulilah. He said, “When I die, carry my body and take me near her house and

stand at her door and say umar bin khattab is taking permission from you”, if she gives

permission then take me inside. But if she changes her mind then bury me in other place.

Because I am still worried, she might have said yes because I am ameer-ul-momineen.” But

Ayesha accepted and he is buried there. But after he was buried there, she never removed

her hijab because she respected him too much as he had a lot of gheerah.

Era of time of uthman ibn affan:

Once aysha was sitting with nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه and his ankles could be seen. When abu

bakr and umar radi Allahu anhum came, he was in the same position but he covered his

feet when uthman came. So she asked the reason so nabi وسلمصلى هللا عليه said, “why

would I not feel shy from a person, whom the angels are shy from.”

And Ayesha said that I saw prophet وسلمصلى هللا عليه so many times raising his hand and

making duas for uthman ibn affan.
