1.Introduction● My interest in the modelling industry made me choose this topic.
1.1 OBJECTIVES● Find out things I did not know about the modelling industry.
● Know what a person has to do to become a model.
● Know the role of curvy models in this industry.
● Know the different types of modelling.
● Demystify some wrong rumours about the modelling agencies and models.
2.METHODOLOGY● Research in the Internet.
● Personal knowledge and experience.
● Interviewing bookers in Barcelona.
● I also interviewed models.

3. Who is a model?● A fashion model is a person whose job is to display clothes by wearing them.
● Different types of modelling.
3.1 the role of men● Most of the times manly.
● Minimum 1.70m for photography and 1.85m for runway.
● Defined, proportional and slender body.
● Longer careers.
3.1 Curvy models● Height: 1.75m-1.80m● Size 40/42-44-46● Hourglass figure
4.The modelling agencies● A company that represents fashion models to work for the fashion industry.
● 20% of commission.
● Important to choose the right one.
5.CONCLUSIONS● The beauty canons are constantly changing.
● Many categories of modelling, which means more opportunities.
● Men also exist in this industry!
● Curvy models are coming back.
● Start working as a model is not easy.
