PASTOR’S MESSAGE
Dear Congregation, Thank you so much for your incredible Christmas gift. I have
applied it toward the cost of tuition for my final course in the Master of Arts in Christian Education degree at Union Presbyterian Seminary. I have been very fortunate to work toward that degree through the generosity of the seminary and the congregations that I have most recently served. It has been a joy to study again at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA, which is where I completed the Master of Divinity degree. After I complete the degree and place a framed declaration of it upon my wall, I will be reminded of you and my time in Schoolcraft as your temporary Contract Pastor. Thanks again!
Blessings, Pastor Carol
PNC Update
What an amazing candidacy weekend for Rev Annamarie on Saturday, January 11th and Sunday, January 12th. The committee would like to thank everyone for their warm and wonderful welcome of both her and her husband, Mitch. We appreciated your attendance at the meet-and-greet on Saturday and the worship service on Sunday, despite the iffy weather. Annamarie and Mitch were very grateful for your hospitality and kindness. Her beaming acceptance of our call was delightful!
FYI, they will be moving into the manse on Monday, April 20th, Rev Annamarie will start serving as our pastor on Monday, April 27th and her first service will be on Sunday, May 3.
It was a long search, but we put ourselves in God’s hands, and feel we were guided in finding the right pastor to lead our church into the future! God bless, Linda B

10 biblical ways to love
1. Listen without interrupting. “To answer before listening — that is folly and shame” (Proverbs 18:13). 2. Speak without accusing. “Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry” (James 1:19). 3. Give without selfishness. “The righteous give without sparing” (Proverbs 21:26). 4. Pray without ceasing. “We have not stopped praying for you” (Colossians 1:9). 5. Answer without arguing. “Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife” (Proverbs 17:1). 6. Share without pretending. “Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of … Christ” (Ephesians 4:15). 7. Enjoy without complaining. “Do everything without grumbling or arguing” (Philippians 2:14). 8. Trust without wavering. “[Love] always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres” (1 Corinthi-ans 13:7). 9. Forgive without punishing. “Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13). 10. Promise without forgetting. “A longing fulfilled is a tree of life” (Proverbs 13:12).

A huge "Thank You" to the 30 fantastic volunteers who helped with the luminaria set up, lighting and pick up. It couldn't have gone any better. The weather was great and the luminarias were beautiful. It's really a cool thing that our church family does for the community on Christmas Eve and it wouldn't happen without your help!
