n This high-status Presentation ismade by Surrey’s Lord-Lieutenantor a Deputy Lieutenant, on behalfof HM The Queen.

n Volunteer groups gain the rightto use the QAVS logo on their stationery and other material.

n They are invited to nominate twovolunteers to attend a RoyalGarden Party.

n The names of awarded groupsare announced on 2nd June eachyear in The London Gazette and

promoted widely elsewhere by the Surrey Lieutenancy.

Anyone can nominate a group or write a Letter of Support, with theexception of the group’s volunteers, employees, or trustees/patrons/board advisers.
