2. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM We breathe approximately 20 thousand times o more a day. 3. NASAL CAVITY It has two orificies, the air enters and it is taken to through the nose. 4. THE PHARYNX The pharynx transports the air to the lungs. 5. THE LARYNX The Larynx, is a small pipe, where the ropes vibrate with the sound. 6. THE TRACHEA The air passes through the larynx towards the trachea. It cleans the particles of the air. The lungs are at the end of the trachea. 7. THE BRONQUIA It exchanges the oxygen and carbon dioxide. 8. THE LUNGS They are covered by the pleura that is a membrane. They are inside the thorax . 9.
