I think most of the answers is “YES”.

Raining is natural weather which can happen anytime depend on the location. It’sreally classical problem and the solution isn’t developedFrom 19th century until now, people still use umbrella to protect them from rain.Maybe it’s enough for protecting your body, but not enough to protect your shoes.

Based on our survey to 20 students among ASEAN countries, we have found all of 

them have problem with their shoes because of raining. There are a lot of reasons.

1. Hendro at Bandung, Indonesia. He said “Almost EVERYDAY is raining at Bandung. If I have bad timing, my shoes will be wet and very hard to make it dry again.”

2. Alex Wong Kek Liang at Penang, Malaysia. He said “I only have one pair of shoes.

And If it’s raining, I must wait until the rain stops. Otherwise I can’t go to

university tomorrow. This is very annoying because I need to wait for the rain.”

3. Jutharath Leelarkunvej at Bangkok, Thailand. She said “I have a lot of pair of 

shoes. But I have to match the shoes with my costumes. So I want all of my shoes

ready to use. But sometimes rain make my shoes wet and I can’t use it.”

4. Sereyboth Van at Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He said “During my high school, I have

this problem because my middle school required me to use fabric shoes. It’s very

easy to get wet from rain”

Based on this reason, our team try to purpose a solution. The solution is “Sexy Dryer”

 Of course not

Shoe dryer has been developed at many countries that have four seasons like U.S.,

France, Russia, China, Japan, Korea, etc. People usually use shoe dryer during the

winter time for drying their shoes because of snow. This is really useful for them

especially for Russia that mostly have snow during winter season. But, based on our

survey to 7 countries in ASEAN, It’s very hard to find shoe dryer in their country. Even

some of them never heard about that.

So our team try to promote our product “Sexy Dryer”

Where was the idea of making this dryer come from?

Well, the idea came from the daily water boiler or other people call the water heater.The main component we going to use in the making of the dryer is the coil inside the

water boiler as shown in the photo. Is a very simple device and we make use of it in

other way for our another daily life use.

This dryer can be make from 4 main components which are, the heater coil, plug,

regulator circuit and plastic cover. It is simple and very cheap to implement as well.

- Coil is the main component to dry up the shoe by heat generation from the coil

when it connected to the electricity.

- Secondly is the regulator which is function as the controller to control the heat of 

the dryer. So, the regulator circuit will only allow certain value

of the voltage to the coil so it would not over temperature and burn the shoe.

- Thirdly, the plug which is supple the voltage to the regulator.

- Lastly, a special plastic cover which is made from reliable material and it make the

dryer look sexy and nice.

With these 4 main simple components, the dryer can easily be create.

After put all the components together, this is how the dryer worked.

1. Put the sexy dryer inside the shoe as shown in the picture

2. Connecting the plug into the electricity switch3. Wait for 30-40min

4. Enjoy with your shoe comfortably

Easy, simple, affordable and useful.

 The shoe dyer which is simple product ,but it meet the need of everyone . This product come

from observing people life, identify problem occur and transform the idea to the product. It

demanded of market in local and also global all level of people and it suit the downturn

economic these days cause the cheap price but quality product ,every day we used it ,

everyone need it. Not only shoe dyer but also there are still many way ,product ,things to

make our life easier through simple and everyday innovation.

As for the business strategy ,we do understand that people purchase products or

services for three basic reasons:

-To satisfy basic needs-To solve problems

-To make themselves feel good.

The most efficient way to promote our product now a day is to promote through

online which is one of the fastest and low price medium.

Begin with the social-community friend such as Facebook, Friendster, twitter, youtube

and expand it until e-commerce site. we will work hard on rainy season by making

shop on crowded area such as downtown , business centre and sell through online!

As for our marketing target, we focus on wide range of shoes user which mean

regardless to age, it include kid, teenagers, adult and senior citizen. Since it is as

cheap as 2.5 dollar USD, we believe that all range of users capable to buy it and wealso offer 3 different size of dryer for all the users which is, Kid, Teenager and adult.
