The program was organized to aware the students and their parents towards different teaching learning approaches and systems followed by institute. Inspirational and motivational experiences were also shared by dignitaries and guests. R C Patel Institute of Technology organized farewell function for final year students ‘Pearl- 2017-18’. The function was conducted by the third year students on April 27, 2017 to express their sincere thanks. CONVERGES 2016-17 A NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM

Over the last few decades we are witnessing remarkable advances and explosive growth in new technologies that are changing the world very fast. To promote research among student, R C Patel Institute of Technology had organized the 8th National Level Technical Symposium (Converges 2017-18) on 24 March 2018. This symposium is includes various technical events for both degree and diploma students of various branches of engineering. Symposium consists of as much as 19 technical events for degree students and 14 technical events for diploma students.

Official inauguration of Converges 2017-18 by Dr. K B Patil (Director, SES Shirpur & Ex- VC NMU, Jalgaon) and Hon Rajgoplaji Bhandari (Vice-President Shirpur Education Society).

ANNUAL GATHERING (REFLECTION 2018) RCPIT organized annual gathering (Reflection 208) for student to explore and present their hidden talent and cultural skills. The platform was used by students to reflect their cultural skills and views regarding societal issues. Reflection 18 was in lush lawns at R. C. Patel Pharmacy College in the evening of February 6, 2018. Students enthusiastically participated in function and effectively presented their views through different activities.

High Caliber Technical Education in an Environment that

NAAC VISIT ASSESEMENT & ACCREDIATION

R C Patel Institute of Technology has secured Grade-‘A’ (3.18) in first cycle of NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) for imparting quality engineering education. RCPIT becomes first engineering institute in north Maharashtra region to be awarded with GRADE - 'A' by NAAC.

Three member committee of NAAC visited RCPIT and assessed the institute on various parameters related to educational and infrastructure needs, involvement of students and faculties in research and development, social awareness among students, participation of students in co-curricular and extracurricular activities and opinions of alumina, parents and recruiters of RCPIT.

One day expert talk on ‘Patent’ was organized by RCPIT. Dr Pritam G Shah, Professor, Jain University, Computer Science and Engineering, Bangalore, India delivered expert talk on Patent. He covered all aspects of patent, starting from basic requisite, process of patent filing and procedures to be followed for validation of patent.
