Saving Energy and Resources
ECOFIL conserves resources because it offsets theneed to use newly refined crude oil. Oil refining is acomplex industrial process that turns crude oil into a
multitude of petroleum-based products. Some of theseproducts are then made into ingredients that go intosynthetic fibers.
For every 0,5 KGS. of ECOFIL polyester yarn,50,000 BTU's*** are conserved, the equivalent of .4 gallons of gasoline.
