About Adventure Boot Camp
“Adventure Boot Camp is an outdoor fitness programme that focuses on
motivation, team work and fun to create positive physical changes for women of
all shapes, sizes and fitness levels.”
A “camp” is four weeks long – one hour of exercise per day.
Camps run from Monday to Friday and take place before or after work.
Ladies can choose to attend three or five days per week.
All classes take place outdoors, in beautiful, invigorating environments.
Exercises include circuits, skipping rope, mat work, core conditioning, cardio,
hikes, team games, weights and much more.
No two days are alike and campers never get bored, ensuring they stick to the
full programme and achieve great results.
Teamwork is the keyword in these camps and everyone encourages each
other to do their best.
We cater to women of all fitness levels and everyone trains at their own pace.
ABC started with a mere 30 ladies in September 2005 at
Kirstenbosch Gardens. We sign on additional franchisees twice a
year and are continuously growing year on year. Our camps are
strategically located in all the major suburbs of the following
cities:

About The Challenge
3 Women, 3 Camps, 1 Winner!
The challenge is open to the general public and ladies from all walks of life enter in
the hope of being selected as one of the three contestants who are willing to make
a life-changing commitment for themselves. In 2011, we received over 250 entries
and we expect to meet or exceed that this year.
The challenge kicks off with a Meet and Greet where Challenge contestants and
sponsors get together to meet each other. As the Title Sponsor you will be provided
with branding space at this event.
The Challenge then begins and contestants receive three consecutive camps (each
lasting four weeks), consultations with a dietician, a life coach, beauty consultations
and much, much more. The overall winner is the person who shows the most
significant improvement on a holistic level taking physical, psychological, mental
and intellectual improvements into account.
The 2012 winner will be announced at a Private Gala Dinner which is only open to
the contestants, their family and friends, the sponsors, trainers and limited ABC
staff. Attendees will be treated to fabulous goodie bags, a sumptuous meal, great
company and the much anticipated announcement of the Challenge winner. As the
Title Sponsor to The Challenge, you automatically receive Title Sponsorship of The
Gala Dinner.

Online Touch Points
All ABC communication drives campers to our website and this translates into an
impressive monthly average of 3.2 million hits, 26 000 unique visitors and six page
views per visitor.
A specific Challenge Page is set up on our website with a link to it on the Home Page.
As the Title Sponsor you have branding rights to this page, the joint Challenge logo,
your logo, a description of your brand, the prizes provided and a hyperlink to your site
will also appear. Should you have a Facebook page, a link to this page will also be
included in the Facebook section of our website.
Entries to the Challenge are online and once the contestants are selected they are
required to keep a weekly blog of their experiences and interaction with your brand.
The blog enjoys a loyal following from campers, fans and supporters and serves as a
great touch point.
The Title Sponsor also receives banner advertising on the this page – the messaging
and artwork are at your discretion but this would serve as brilliant exposure for you, as
banners receive an average of 54 000 impressions every month.
Social Media
Social Media is another driver for this campaign and a specific page is set up for
the Challenge each year. During the 2011 Challenge our Challenge Facebook
Page had 377 fans and the interaction is what it made it such a success. As the
Title Sponsor you receive naming and branding rights to this page. Your logo, a
description of your brand, the prizes provided and a hyperlink to your site will
appear on a tab dedicated to our prize sponsors.
Challenge contestants post updates about how they are doing as well as their
interaction with prize sponsors. We also include ad-hoc status updates which
mention offerings from the Title Sponsor and should you have a Facebook Page,
we will add a link to it on our page.
Our national Facebook and Twitter pages, which launched in May 2011, are
growing exponentially! Facebook currently has 3 800 members and we have 240
people following us on Twitter.
The ABC Newsletter
We send a bi-weekly newsletter to approximately 28 900 past and present ABC
campers nationwide. These include general information about our camps as well
as upcoming weekend events, recipes, etc. Call for entry, contestant
announcements and blog updates are included in all CT Newsletters for the
duration of the Challenge and as the Title Sponsor you receive exposure in every
article. You also receive space to feature in one newsletter per camp for which you
would provide us with content.
At Camp / Brand Ambassadors
In the past the contestants have served as great ambassadors to our Title
Sponsor. ABC allows for great networking and women chat about all kinds of
things and offer advice to each other on brands and life in general.
Tshirts are also made for the contestants which have the joint logo on the front
and both our websites on the back. This serves as great visual branding at
camp.
On the first day of camp, all our ladies get an envelope containing marketing
material / discounts / samples from our sponsors. 3 500 envelopes are
distributed every camp and as a the Title Sponsor, you would have access to
these envelopes to include brand messaging / samples. Items are sent to three
regions and we distribute them for you each camp.
The Gala Dinner As the Title Sponsor you receive naming rights, branding space, two tickets as well
as access to the goodie bags provided to each attendee.
