Jeremiah 29:13
Welcome to New Covenant! We believe God is good all the time and we gather on Sundays to celebrate His goodness. We are really glad you have decided to join us today!
If you are new to New Covenant be sure to visit our Welcome Centre in the lobby to receive a special gift and a brochure designed to answer some of the questions you are probably asking and to help you get the most out of your first few visits.
This handout is our monthly communications brochure and is designed to make you aware of everything that is happening at NC. Feel free to participate in as much or as little as you are ready for.
Our hope is that as you take the next step into the New Covenant community and get more involved, you will begin to see that NC is more than just a Sunday Morning celebration; it is a family of everyday people following Jesus together to bring hope and change to the world - one life at a time.
Our Purpose:Celebrating God’s goodness!
Our Mission:Helping one another to Encounter God, be Equipped by His Word, and Empowered by His Spirit to live a life that celebrates God.
One of the best known and most popular verses in the Bible promises that God has a plan for you designed to prosper you and give you a hope filled future. (see Jer. 29:11).
But do you realize that part of God’s prosperity plan for you requires you finding the place to serve that He uniquely created for you to fill?
Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
God’s best plan for you involves you finding the place to serve that He specifically created for you. Until you begin to serve in this way you will not fully realize God’s desired future for you.
No excuses. Saved people serve people. Or at least they should if they want to experience God’s best for themselves.
There are all kinds of opportunities to serve at NC! Opportunities at the church, or from home, or in our community; opportunities to be in front of people and opportunities to remain behind the scenes; opportunities that don’t require any time outside of Sunday morning and opportunities that don’t require you to miss the celebration. There are also the type of opportunities that require a big commitment and investing lots of hours. There is a role to fit who God uniquely created you to be.
Not everyone who serves is saved but everyone who is saved should serve. Contact Pastor Lance and find your spot today!

#1 – Deuteronomy 8:18But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
This verse clearly showed me that EVERYTHING I have is from the hands of God—EVERYTHING! (See also Romans 11:36)
#2 – Proverbs 3:9-10Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
In this verse I see a command and a promise. If I will honor God with my money…Scripture clearly says He will take care of me (and that promise is true for you as well!)
#3 – Proverbs 22:7The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.
I remember the day I realized I was a slave to debt…and I didn’t want to stay that way. So I made the decision to become a
good steward of what the Lord had given me, get on a budget and make tough financial decisions. (See also Proverbs 21:5 and Proverbs 21:20)
#4 – Malachi 3:10“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
I did not tithe for the first nine years I followed Jesus…and I was ALWAYS broke. I began to tithe in 1999 and the Lord has ALWAYS provided what I need, when I need it.
We will include the final 3 scriptures in the next edition. If you can’t wait visit www.perrynoble.com
Find a friend and work through these questions together. Which of these four verses is new to you? What can you learn from them? Which is the hardest to apply and why? How can these new truths change your life?
Number 3 talks about debt. Debt is a big issue for many Canadians. Why not consider signing up for our Dealing with Debt seminar. See next page for details.
