• Qualifications:– Elementary lectures in physics– (Introduction to Astronomy & Astrophysics)

• Dates:– Lecture: Wednesday 10 – 13 ct SR I (May 7, 2014 Westbau 2. OG Seminarraum)– No lecture: June 12, 2014 (holiday)– Exercises: one – two hours every one or two weeks after agreement

Location: Kiepenheuer-Institut für Sonnenphysik– Tutor: Kolja Glogowski

• Certificates (7 ECTS Punkte):– Participation at exercises obligatory (attendance list)– 50% of problems solved correctly – Active participation at exercises (demonstration of solutions on black board)

• Course of Exercises: – 3 Exercise sheets (usually submission one week after issue)

• Working at home on the problems• Discussion and presentation of solutions in exercise hours

– 3 hands-on computer exercises at KIS• June & July• Exercises are issued Wednesdays and can be solved at home or

mainly in the exercise hours • Computer knowledge (Data languages IDL, Matlab, Python,…) ?
