• Pipesim is the industry standard multiphase fluid flow simulator

• Used in inflow, wellbore, flowline and production system modeling

• File-based thermodynamic link between ScaleChem and Pipesim

• ScaleChem provides scaling information which Pipesim uses to model solids deposition

• Pipesim can read thermodynamic and phase behavior and properties from a PVT text file

• A grid of values at each data point (T,P) ranging from Tmin to Tmax, Pmin to Pmax

• 2-dimensional quadratic interpolation between grid points

• ScaleChem provides all this data, including scaling information with formation curves

• Pipesim can then predict the amount, type, tendency of the scale
