BUILDING YOUR HOUSE

An elderly carpenter was read to retire. He told his employer

contractor of his plans to leave the house building business to live a

more leisurely life with his wife and enjoy his extended family. He would miss the

pay check each week, but he wanted to retire. They could get by. The contractor

was sorry to see his good work go worker go &asked if he could build just one morehouse as a personal favour. The carpenter said yes, but over time it was easy to see

that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used

inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career. When the

carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect the house. Then he

back. You are the carpenter, and every day you hammer a nail, place a board, or

HELLO MATHTIPS FOR EASY CALCULATION

In the last issue, we had seen about squaring of a number that ends with 5. In this let us see about multiplicationof numbers whose last digits sums to 10 and the remaining digits are same.

Eg:- 1 Find the product of 124 x 126.[Here, it should satisfy two conditions,

condition 1: last digits should sum to 10,(4+6=10) satisfies

condition 2: remaining digits are same124 x 126,also satisfies]

Solution: 124x 126
