Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. Section 2000d) and related Nondiscrimination authorities, prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, including income-level and Limited English Proficiency (LEP) in programs, activities and services receiving federal financial assistance. Any person who believes that he or she, has been subjected to discrimination prohibited under the Department’s Title VI Program, may file a discrimination complaint.
