New Wednesday Evening LADIES class entitled “Uninvited,” by Lysa

TerKeurst, will begin on Wednesday, June 14, in Room 140. April Littlefield

will lead in this new study.

VOLUNTEERS FOR TODAY

There will be a Widows’ Fellowship Luncheon in the Fellowship Center immediately following our morning service. These special ladies will be treated to a delicious lunch, hear information about other fellowship times, and enjoy a time to visit together. Our deacons will serve the meal prepared by our Kitchen Team.

Today, you will have the opportunity to meet Susan Magouirk and her family. She has been visiting with our Children’s Search Team

and learning about our children’s ministry. Susan is here today to see our children’s ministry, attend worship, and get acquainted with Calvary Church.

3:30 to 4:00 Deacons and Personnel Committee will meet with Susan.

4:15 to 4:45 Parents of children in the 5th grade and down will meet with Susan.

Susan will be present for the 5:00 p.m. church service. (All meetings will be in the Worship Center)

Our summer schedule has started. There is no Awana during the summer, but during the month of June we will have evening services from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Adults will be in the Worship Center, children will enjoy “READY, SET, SPLASH” as they meet in the Fellowship Center, and students will meet in their regular places.

Tonight, there will be a short business meeting at 5:00 p.m. One item of business will be a recommendation from our TBI Committee to add two new TBI Trustees. Those men being nominated to serve are Russell Wylie (Henderson school teacher) and Joe Griffith (Director - Henderson Health & Rehab) .

Next Sunday morning, June 11, Curtis Gilbert, Secretary & Treasurer of the M. B. A. of Texas, will give a short report on the Texas missionaries we are supporting. Brother Curtis and his wife, Ruth, are members of Calvary Church, and we are blessed to have them as part of our church family. An offering will be received for Texas Missions.

Ready, Set begins tonight! Preschool - 5th grade children will meet in the Fellowship Center from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Children should wear shorts and t-shirts to get wet and bring a towel (along with a change of clothes if desired). This will be a fun time of learning, combined with water games after the lessons!

During the month of June, our kitchen staff will serve grilled items only. There will be no baked potato meal option available for June. Additionally, NO MEALS will be served on Wednesday evenings during the month of July.
