EXECUTIVE SUMMRYU –Neel We introduce ourselves as a leading Manufacturer of submersible

pumpsets having well established factory at Ahmedabad, manufacturing

pumpsets under the brand name of U-NEEL since last 30 years. U – Neel is

confident to supply export worthy quality at competitive rates as per customers

delivery schedule. At present it has wide range of submersible pumps suitable for

tubewell from 4 to 12 (HP upto 100) to suit different duty point conditions.

We would like to bring following to your notice regarding our organisation.

ISO 9001-2000 company certified by BVQI.

Well equipped factory with all required machines, testing equipments and

trained staff / technicians.

113 different models available for tubewell applications from 3 HP to 82

HP with ISI (IS 8034 89). We also have IS 9283-95 for submersible

motors.

Horizontal monosets available from 0.5 HP to 25 HP suitable for openwell

applications.

Third party inspection through CEIL, RITES, SGS, DGS&D etc offered.

Excellent quality at competitive rates.

Submersible dewatering pumps (for dewatering application) available upto

10HP.

Pumps supplied to various Govt. Depts like PHED Rajasthan, GWSSB

Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, DGS & D, Chandigard,

Metropolitan water supply & Severage Board, Chennai, Maharashtra

Jeevan Pradhikaran Bombay etc. during last five years all over India.

Unnati Industrial Corporation had a very modest start in the year 1975 in a

comparatively smaller place in an old workshop producing and assembling

various types of pumpsets. By virtue of our hard work and development

temperament towards quality, we were awarded BIS Certification Mark

Licence No. IS 8034 for Submersible Pumpsets, in the year 1987 by the

national standard body-Bureau of Indian Standards

Our back bone of Unnati Industrial Corporation is MR. GORDHANBHAI

B. PATEL who made our company to grow faster and higher within a short

span of time and because of him we are able to maintain our quality and

satisfy the needs of our customers with our Submersible Pumps. He started

very modestly in the year 1975 and today we have got BIS & ISO 9001-

2000 certification.

By virtue of our reputation in the national and international market, the

company has a very long and close association with Engineering Export

Promotion Council, Gujarat International Trade Promotion council, Gujarat

Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Indian Pumps Manufacturing

Association.

Our own foundry which we started in 1993 has helped us tremendously in

enhancing our quality. It employs two induction furnaces, core shooters for

ferrous and non-ferrous metal casting and is fully equipped with testing

laboratory

The various application of our products are for Agriculture (lift and

sprinkler), industries, rural water supply schemes, dairies, garden, fountains,

bungalows and multistoried buildings.

Our Performance level is in spite of the industrial recession in the global

market, we have reached 90 million sale figures by producing 6800 nos. app.

MARKETING NETWORK

Our Submersible pumpsets, monosets are used by customers all over

India, supplied by us directly or through our dealer’s network which

is well spread in almost all parts of India. Technical guidance,

service after sales & spares are easily available through our dealers

as well as from us.

Since we are generating our wide network of performance we are

ranging and getting to touch every city corner so that our customer

may be availed of our service as prompt and with ease.

Research Methodology is indeed a significant form for any and every survey

to carry out successfully. It is in fact very hard for a professional to carry out

survey without systematic procedures and preparation of required

questionnaire as well as collection of sample data upon which the survey

need to be done and information gathered.

In my survey, Research Methods which were adopted by me:

a) Open ended questionnaire with some close ended

questions.

b) Direct Personal Interview

c) Random Sampling assumed in the process of survey

Sample Size from the population was: 45 in no. of correspondents upon

which questionnaire was put and interview with held.

Regions of training conducted were:

In Rajasthan: Udaipur Chitorgarh Dungarpur Rajsamand Banswara,

In Gujarat: Himmat Nagar, Ahemdabad, Modasa, Gandhinagar.

done, the following necessary analyses were drawn which are as

summarized as follows:

More than 60% of the Correspondents i.e. Agriculture farmers are

experiencing in the field of agriculture for more than 10 years, while 30%

are back from 5 years ago from now and rest ave commenced for more than

1 – 5 year only as depicted from the graph: -

products of farming where as 40% still are using traditional methods as can

be inferred from the graph:

submersible pumps rest are either planning or have no interest in using as

they have small farms.

STRENGTHS: -

1. U-NEEL is a good brand in submersible pump with a reputed

customer base.

2. Few competitors have led the company to enjoy the better customer

service with ISO verified and certified qualitative products with sould

satisfactions

3. Today many big enterprises and almost every state huge capitalized

project are being fetched and furnished by U-NEEL submersible

pumps as compared to the other competitors.

WEAKNESSES: -

1. The company is still slow in exploring new markets and tap potential

markets where it could make out successful implementation of its

wide variety of products to be available in to the market.

2. Individual customers have not been scale on a mass measure

otherwise the company would have surely monopolize the entire

market and enjoyed the benefit where other could only have a dream

of it.

1. There is a vast untapped market open for U-NEEL submersible in

agriculture sphere.

2. due to the benefit of less competitors, there is great opportunistic

situation for a company like it which can go for a nation wide

campaigning to market its product growth.

1. Reducing agricultural land for farming is a big challenge and threat to

into markets poses a another big threat to the company.

Following are the recommendations useful for UNNATI INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION:

1. Requires maintaining its success growth rate in future as competition is becoming more stiff and cutthroat.

2. The company has to implement its strategies in such manner making every efforts to boost up the sales and net income as a whole by reaching to every segment of the society.

3. It needs to develop more horse power water pumps to facilitate the customers at large, servicing them promptly.

The conduct of summer training was a practical gain to wide sphere

knowledge to me in the dealing with submersible pumps. I came to learn

regarding the market sphere of the usage in the field of agriculture and

depict how people are managing to use the submersible pumps.

Still people need lot of awareness to be informed about the advantages of

usage of submersible pumps and how they can benefit them. It was a great

measure to get to the knowledge of the various products of the U-NEEL and

how they can be applied to the agriculture and various other fields.

Finally, what I realized was that in agriculture it is quite obvious that the use
