Home Energy Assistance Tar-get is designed to assist eligible households meet the rising costs of home heating. HEAT is not a

welfare program. It is a federally funded Energy Assistance Pro-gram that is administered by the State of Utah. If you are new to Medicare and have questions about drug plans, supplements, or advantage plans, they have also been trained to assist in these areas. If you need assis-tance, please call for an appoint-ment. Annual enrollment runs from November 15 to December 31 and we are now scheduling appointments. It is recommend-ed that everyone take a look at their drug plan to ensure that it best meets their needs. Each drug plan has changed a bit for the coming year. Call for more information.

Senior Transit is providing transportation Monday, Wednes-day and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This service provides trans-portation for the elderly and dis-abled in the outlying communi-ties and those that are unable to use UTA’s LIFT.
