I apologise for the quick change of our school plan, following the announcement by the NSW Department of Education earlier this week, but we are delighted our students will be back at school. As adults, it is our responsibility to maintain social distancing – that goes for all school staff, parents and carers. As a result, parents and carers must avoid coming in to school and, where possible, drop your child at the gate rather than coming in with them. A guide to NSW school students returning to face-to- face learning document was placed on our school Facebook and SkoolBag pages this week for a complete summary. It states that excursions, assemblies and scripture are not yet able to restart and students are to make sure they bring a drink bottle to school (which can be refilled at school) to avoid using school bubblers. The guide also states that… All students should be at school unless: They have a medical certificate which states that they are unable to return to school due to an ongoing medical condition (attached) They are currently unwell. School reports later this semester will be in a simplified version. Due to the break in learning and assessment, A-E reporting will not be included. It will include written feedback relating to English and mathematics, but all other subjects will discussed in a general section about your child’s progress with their learning. Thank you to all our families for their hard work with their children throughout this health crisis. We realise that it has not all been plain sailing and we thank you for your support and understanding during this time. Kind Regards, Mr. Matt Hankinson Principal Year 6 to 7 Expression of Interest Please return Year 6 to 7 Expression of Interest (EOI) for High School 2021 to the front office as soon as possible. If you have misplaced your copy please let the school know. Book Club Issue 4 catalogue is now circulating. Orders need to be completed by Friday 19 June. Your continued support is appreciated.

Week 4 Term 2 • 22 May 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

We look forward to seeing all of our students return to school on Monday.

A guide to NSW school students returning to face-to-face learning document was placed on our school Facebook and SkoolBag pages this week for a complete summary. It states that excursions, assemblies and scripture are not yet able to restart and students are to make sure they bring a drink bottle to school (which can be refilled at school) to avoid using school bubblers. The guide also states that…

All students should be at school unless:

They have a medical certificate which states that they are unable to return to school due to an ongoing medical condition (attached)

They are currently unwell.

Matt Hankinson Principal

Year 6 to 7 Expression of Interest

Please return Year 6 to 7 Expression of Interest (EOI) for High School 2021 to the front office as soon as possible. If you have misplaced your copy please let the school know.

Book Club Issue 4 catalogue is now circulating. Orders need to be completed by Friday 19 June. Your continued support is appreciated.
