This turnkey software has cultivated the constructs of AI, providing terminal operators with greater control and visibility over operations. Mainly due to the AI in TOPX Expert that automatically and independently learns from the pool of data, applies its knowledge, and determines different scenarios for optimization at the user’s discretion. Therefore, TOPX Expert uses AI to optimize operations, processes, and resources. This powerful technology improves vessel schedules by determining the optimum position, time, and departure for a vessel to berth. AI is a technology used in many modules of TOPX Expert to optimize berth planning, vessel scheduling, yard planning, and resource allocation.

Specifically for Berth optimization, it brings many benefits to terminals. Terminals are able to forecast the cost of resources (CHEs/labor/trucks) and operational time/cost at the time of berth planning. Also, users can foresee the actual workflow in relation to the vessel operation, allowing more accurate estimation for ETA/ETD of vessel.
