The Town of Danville is pleased to offer a selection of campsfor youth ages 5–14 in one location. No need to drive all overtown! Campers are divided into age-appropriate groups for dailyfun based on the themes of the week, but will join together for selectactivities, like the Friday Talent Show and BBQs at Oak Hill Park.

DANVILLE DAY CAMP JUNIORAge 5–7Y Town StaffFriends! Fun! Field trips! That’s what this extension of the popularDanville Day Camp provides for children entering kindergarten tosecond grade. Trained and experienced staff will lead children throughdaily adventures of songs, crafts, games, and outdoor activities. EachTuesday campers will enjoy an age-appropriate, off-site field trip, whichwill be chaperoned by Town Staff only. Don’t forget Wednesday WaterPlay and the All-Camps Friday Talent Show and BBQ! Note: this campdoes not have a swim day at the pool. Wear layered play clothes andclosed-toe shoes, and bring a snack, sack lunch, and water each day.Completed Emergency Form required on first day of camp. Traditional Day CampsWHAT IS A “TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP?”Traditional day camps include full- and half-day day campswith activities planned around a central theme by trainedTown staff. Each camper belongs to a group of 6–8 whichrotates through activities throughout the day, such as arts,crafts, outdoor games, playground time, sports, free play, etc. Some camps include an off-site, Town staff-supervisedfield trip.

All registered participants will receive an informational emailabout one week prior to the first day of camp. Complete theHealth Information and Emergency Form and bring to the firstday of camp (one form per child per summer). If you selectedthe $50 Camp Deposit Option, your outstanding fee balancewill automatically be billed to your credit card 14 days prior to the first day of camp. Standard withdrawal and refundpolicy applies.

LITTLE PEANUTS STORYBOOK CAMPAge 3–4Y Town StaffIntroduce your little one to the magic and color of storybooks at anew Little Peanuts Camp. Each day is structured especially forpreschoolers, led by well-trained staff, and filled with crafts, games,songs, and outdoor play based on the book of the week. Campersmust be fully potty-trained (no pull-ups) and must be 3 years old bythe first day of camp. Wear layered play clothes and closed-toeshoes, and bring a snack and water each day. DAY CAMP GROUP SWIM LESSONSAge 5–11Y Town StaffExclusively for kids registered in Danville Day, Danville Day Junior,and Play ‘n’ Sports Day Camps at swim levels Elementary 1–4 (seeAquatics section for details). Lessons are 25 minutes long andrun Monday–Thursday for one week. Children will be testedand placed in a class with similarly-skilled students. Max threestudents per instructor. Town staff will escort campers to thepool. Children must be able to change clothes on own. Parentspick up children at the pool, or campers registered for ExtendedCare will be escorted back to the Los Cerros Teen Center.

PLAY ‘N’ SPORTS DAY CAMPAge 7–11Y Town StaffLooking forward to camp this summer but prefer active games, sports and field trips? Then Play ‘n’ Sports Day Camp is for you! Enthusiastic and well-trained staff will lead a variety of recreational games to help you learn three differentsports a week, in addition to singing your favorite camp songs and playing the camp games you love. Wednesdays are for Water Play, and Fridays feature the All-Camps Talent Show and BBQ, plus swimmingat Monte Vista Community Pool. DESTEENATION CAMPAge 11–14Y Town Staff Welcome back to DesTEENationCamp! This summer it is all aboutexperiences! Each week will startwith exciting group projects likewater bottle rocket launches, waterballoon catapults, amazing groupmurals, and much more.Tuesday–Thursday will be filled with great trips, with a Wednesdayextended trip to 5 PM. Every Fridayfeatures a Talent Show BBQ with all Los Cerros camps, plus free swim at the Monte Vista CommunityPool. Bring a snack, lunch and water,Monday-Thursday, unless otherwisespecified in the parent email. Tripsare subject to change. CompletedEmergency Form required on firstday of camp.
