TP Events and Bathurst Women’s Network is delighted to welcome you to our morning tea on Friday 21st November 2014 with
local Speaker, Author, and Entrepreneur, Gerada Maher as she discusses,
“Empowered with the Secrets, Tricks and Tips for a Black Belt attitude!”
Proudly Sponsored by:
Gerarda….“Empowered with the Secrets, Tricks and Tips for a Black Belt
attitude!”
There is great power in the feminine spirit. Congratulations to everyone who has an empowered woman in their life. For Gerarda the realisation of the power a woman can have began at the age of 11 when she lost her mum to cancer. The difficult ensuing years and having to find her own maturity, feminine spirit and power without the guidance of a maternal figure have brought her to a place of responsibility as a mother and woman in our society. “Most women have an internal power that they don’t even realise is there. An empowered woman can create the most phenomenal life and community around her. Claiming this strength and power can be liberating and enlightening.”
Gerarda has been passionate about martial arts for over 33 years and has written books and
developed a unique program to empower women and help them claim their strength and
freedom. Gerarda’s teaching style is interactive, comprehensive and fun. She is passionate
about the spark and the moment of insight, learning and growth. Join us for an insight to the
personal journey that sees Gerarda as a wife and mother of a 16 year old daughter, a
successful business woman, property investor, community contributor and active martial
artist currently holding two black belts.

The Greatness Principle
Ever heard the statement…”Behind every great man there’s a great woman” or vice versa? That statement is not entirely true. In a world that is so fast, technologically advanced and super organised, many people feel disconnected and not supported. The pressure of working hard, keeping up with life’s demands and challenges means that building supporting relationships other than their prime relationship goes on the back burner. If we only needed one great man or woman behind us, life would work. Pity life doesn’t work that way.
What if there was a simple way of thinking that could turn all of that around?
Well now, there is…The Greatness Principle has been invented by Jen Harwood, who developed and applied this principle to the small business sector to: move businesses out of bankruptcy to profitability, for the business owners and their managers to avoid divorce and for their children to thrive instead of just survive at school. The Greatness Principle is a simple tool for individuals, families, businesses and community groups to increase connectedness, participation and create outstanding results.
