What is Oasis?

• Electronic system for storing student records• @ UCF: Official student record • Used to track student duty hours, patient logs…• Students “self-report”• School uses to monitor for issues/rapid response

If you are just starting with Oasis:

• Establish data entry policy at start of academic year

• Inform students of policy• Uniform entry policy simplifies reports

process

• Student enters total weekly hours in Oasis• Student notes reasons for weeks >80 hours:– “two On-Call assignments”
