TRANSFER OF VEHICLE REGISTRATION

1. Applicant apply online in Vahan 4.0 for transfer of vehicle ownership

service by entering his/her vehicle number.

2. Applicant select Transfer of Ownership service from the list of online services:-

3. After selecting service of Vehicle Transfer ownership applicant pay fees online in Vahan 4.0 web

application.

4. E-fee receipt is generated after successful payment of Transfer fees by the applicant :-

5. Applicant takes print out of online fees payment receipt and proceed further for uploading relevant

scanned documents online in Vahan 4.0 application.

6. Applicant now upload documents or modify already uploaded documents by furnishing following

detail:-

A. Registration Number

B. Chassis No

C. Application Number

D. Mobile Number

7. Applicant upload mentioned documents online in Vahan 4.0

8. After submitted online details by the applicant with uploaded documents, application with scanned

documents moves online to concerned office staffs vahan login Ids.

9. Office staff verifying all the details of the application

10. Application inward by the concerned office clerk in his Vahan ID and verify the details & uploaded

document with online record and moves the file for approval to Licensing & Registering authority .

11. After verifying details Approval Authority approves online application of transfer of vehicle

registration service and vehicle is transferred to new owner.
