1. TUDENT PROFILE BOOK N F P ICING GGI eptember 2014
2. The Fall 2014 Transfer Pricing Aggies Student Profile Book
highlights 19 graduate students at Texas A&M University who are
now taking, or will take in Spring 2015, my International Transfer
Pricing course MGMT/INTA 663. They are looking for internships or
full-time placement in transfer pricing, valuation, tax and related
careers. Each student has signed a FERPA form, allowing public
release of their information for purposes of job placement. My
14-week semester-long course (42 hours) is a demanding graduate
seminar with a strong economics focus. We read the most recent
professional and scholarly work on transfer pricing in addition to
thoroughly dissecting the IRS Section 482 Regulations and the OECD
Transfer Pricing Guidelines. The students prepare a contemporaneous
documentation package using Thomson Reuters OneSource Documenter,
perform a CUT analysis using ktMINEs Royalty Rate Finder, and study
and present well-known transfer pricing court cases. The students
review past ADIT transfer pricing exams and are tested weekly on
class materials. Courses such as Financial Statements Analysis and
Advanced Statistics provide additional competencies. Students who
successfully complete this program of study are therefore well
prepared to work in the transfer pricing field and related areas
such as tax or valuation. More than 60 Transfer Pricing Aggies have
successfully completed this training and are working fulltime in
these areas. If your firm is interested in employing one or more of
these students, please contact them directly using the email or
LinkedIn information on their profile page. Questions about the
Profile Book or transfer pricing at Texas A&M University should
be directed to Lorraine Eden at [email protected]. I would like to
thank Alexandra Clakley for her assistance in putting together the
second edition of the Transfer Pricing Aggies Profile Book, and all
the students, staff and faculty involved in this project. Gigem,
Aggies! Lorraine Eden, PhD Professor of Management Texas A&M
