OSU is a compact, walkable campus - a short stroll from downtown Corvallis. Thanks to its proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, the public library and other services, the Corvallis campus has an average Walkscore of 79 (out of 100).

Register your bike at project529.com, an online bike registration and recovery network. Then bring it in to the Public Safety office in Cascade Hall for a non-removable registration sticker. Registration helps to deter theft, and increases the likelihood that your stolen bike will be recovered.
The Dixon Bike Shop, located in the Dixon Rec Center, offers work stands and tools for your use. Mechanics can help you with repairs and routine maintenance.

FROM START TO FINISHOSU’s Motor Pool first opened to customers in 1934 as the Agricultural Carpool. The Motor Pool has since grown into a fleet of over 450 vehicles including sedans, vans and trucks. Our Motor Pool has offices at both Oregon State University and the University of Oregon.

Employees and students over the age of 18 on official OSU business.
Complete a driver authorization form online at motorpool.oregonstate.edu.
Complete van safety test for those driving 8 to 12-passenger vans.
Bring your driver's license with you when you come to pick up your vehicle.
At the Oregon State University Corvallis campus, Motor Pool vehicles can be parked in any A, B or C lot general space (e.g. not service, reserved or ADA spaces).
Vehicles can be returned 24 hours a day.
Vehicles do not need to be refueled prior to returning.
Park the vehicle in the designated return area.
Fill out the highlighted areas on the Beaver Card and leave it on the dash.
Place keys in the key drop box.
You can bring a folding bike with you to get around your destination. Bikes are free to anyone reserving a Motor Pool vehicle and can be easily folded and stored when not in use during your trip.
70% of all Motor Pool trips are carpools.

Visitors may purchase permits at pay stations on campus (locations on map, p. 21-22), at our office in Adams Hall, or online at parking.oregonstate.edu.
Visitor Rates: A zone daily permit for $12/day, or $2/hr B/C zone daily permit for $10/day or $1/hr
Permits are not required on weekends and University-recognized holidays.
