An extensive in-company process, followed by an audit conducted by an outside certification body, is a prerequisite for successful certification. All buyers of TransSteel welding systems can order an optional Certificate of Conformity Package with their machines, or upgrade to it later as needed. The time-consuming process for the WPS is then no longer necessary. / The EN 1090 Certificate of Conformity Package comprises a collection of welding procedure specifications and a sticker. The WPQR and WPS apply for steel constructions (EN 1090-2) of execution classes (EXC) 1 and 2. Specific MAG applications of the ‘Steel’ characteristic with G3Si1/ G4Si1 filler metal, wire diameter 1.0/1.2 mm and 82 % argon/18 % CO2 shielding gas, material grades S355 J2 and S235 JR, are included in the package. / A prominently placed sticker indicates compliance with the EN 1090-2 Code for steel constructions of execution classes (EXC) 1 and 2.
