Flu Shot Clinic today in the office!

For a number of years we have had an active email prayer chain atChaparral. As needed, an email is sent out from our front desk withneeds of the congregation, their families and friends. We know thepower of prayer and consider it a privilege to pray for one another.

It is a Biblical directive. If you would like to be included, pleaseemail your request [email protected]@chaparral.org.

Some considerations: We respect the privacy of our people. Before submitting a prayer request, please get permission from theperson for whom you want prayers. It is not necessary to give allthe details. A name and a simple explanation will do. We may edit

information as well. Once a request is made, make a point to

report the outcome of the situation. Thank you for joining us inuplifting those in our community who are in need!

If you are someone who likes to get flushots each year, our health care ministryhas arranged for them to be available toyou at a minimal cost. These areadministered by nurses. Please stop bythe Church office this Sunday morningfor more information.

We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Bookin whichyou can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your

information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hearfrom everyone!

    Communion/Lords Supper

All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you

are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as

they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while

it is in front of them before passing it along.

OfferingIn our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an

act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a timespecific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving

    as you are led.

NurseryWe have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the

north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions

We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help

you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning

programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad

    you are here today!
