Luminaria assembly on Sunday, December 4th, from
11-12:30. We will be ordering pizza for lunch and are inviting
parents to attend. Last year we had a great group of students
and a number of parents help, enabling us to finish about
1,300 luminaria in just over an hour! We
hope to have as many hands on the 4th so that
we may be as efficient this year. Sign up on
the youth website!!

Childrens Christmas MusicalChristmas Hang-Ups
December 4 at 6:00 p.m. in The Commons
Presented by Chaparrals own 1st - 5th grade students.
Cookies and cider to follow.
Club 45 - Follow the Star Childcare &
Angel Tree at the Mall!Calling all 4th and 5th graders! Each year our
parents and students in Club 45 volunteer their time to oversee the infants andtoddlers of the people who are part of the FTS program. It is a great way tovolunteer AND if you do, we will take the money we would have spent onchildcare and go to the mall to pick out Angel Tree gifts! To be able to participatein the Angel Tree you need to help in the nursery. Parents - we will need 3-4 adultsand 4 children each night. The times will be 6:10 until shortly after the last group
goes around which is about 8:15 - 9:00. Please let Stacy know if you would like tobe a part of this fun group.
Its just before Christmas and the tree ornaments have been awakened from theiryearly hibernation by the movement of their storage box. Its time! As they begin to
prepare for another season on the Watsons Christmas tree, they are greeted by arather strange and un-Christmassy ornament: A Hula-Girl. The Star, the
Snowman, the Angel and others give her a rather cool reception until anothersignificant figure from the mantelpiece shows up to explain to all of them what
Christmas is about and how they each have significance in Gods amazing plan ofredemption through His Son, Jesus.

We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Bookin whichyou can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your
information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hearfrom everyone!
Communion/Lords Supper
All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you
are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as
they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while
it is in front of them before passing it along.
OfferingIn our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an
act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a timespecific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving
as you are led.
NurseryWe have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the
north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help
you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning
programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad
you are here today!
