TRINITY AND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Trinity and other local Methodist churches participated this spring in building a Habitat for Humanity house on Juanita Drive in Alberta City. (Sandy Wilson claims she can now spackle a nail hole as well as any professional carpenter or painter!) In addition to our volunteer hours, one day Trinity provided lunch for all Habitat workers at the site.Trinity wants this Habitat house’s new owner, Xandrea Jones, to make a successful transition from apartment renter to homeowner. Xandrea is very excited and grateful that Trinity wants to help her. In addition to our volunteer hours, Trinity’s missions budget bought the Jones Family a lawn mower, gas can, garden hose, sprinkler head for the hose, a hose reel, a rake and a trowel. The Habitat dedication service was Saturday, June 11. We wish the Jones family all the best.
