WHAT WE BELIEVE

HEARING IMPAIRED

Pocket-sized receivers with ear buds are available to be checked out

during the Worship Service from the sound booth at the rear of the

sanctuary.

ELDER INVITATION

Following morning worship, the elders will be available to members

and guests for prayer and ministry. Simply come to the front of the

sanctuary where we will be glad to: pray for your personal needs, lead

you in receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior, discuss church

membership.

November 16, 2014

ESPECIALLY FOR OUR GUESTS

We are glad to have you worship with us today. You

are worshiping with people who experience the

same difficulties of life as you. We have nothing to

boast about except the God we worship. Please relax

and focus upon the Lord Jesus who loves you and

desires for you to follow Him. While God has surely

led you here, you likely still have a number of im-

portant questions about us; how to get more involved and connected in

meaningful relationships or about your own personal or spiritual needs.

If so, please allow us to help you by completing the guest registration

inside the back cover or by coming forward during the invitation time.

LATE BREAKING NEWS...Continued

PERSPECTIVES ON THE

WORLD CHRISTIAN

MOVEMENT Get threaded into the biggest

story of all time. You're about to

experience God's heart for all

peoples and encounter the

momentum of the World

Christian Movement. Perspec-

tives will give you fresh eyes to

see God, His story, His world,

and His heart. Come learn how

He wants to include YOU in His

plans and purposes.

Audit the course or take it for 3

hours credit at OU!

Classes will be held at the Para-

digm (BCM) Building on Monday

nights from 6-9 pm, January 12

through May 4. For more infor-

mation, contact Debby at Per-

[email protected] or

Carol Ann The class is not only

for students. If you will

require child care, please contact

us ASAP to let us know.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING

As we prepare our hearts for this glorious season, let us

beautify our church for the celebration. On the Sunday

before Thanksgiving (November 23) we are going to

deck the halls and decorate the walls for Christmas. It’s

a big church, so the more who help with this merry job,

the faster it will get done. We need strong arms and

backs to carry boxes and wreaths, creative hands to arrange, some who

will climb ladders, and some who will help set things up. We’d like

help to carry boxes downstairs right after morning worship, and then

except for a lunch break, we will be here all day. To help for any

amount of time, call or text Janet Banks or Angie Bushey . Thank you!

MISSIONS MINISTRY UPDATES

Tim Tillinghast in Africa will

be home on furlough soon – the

first Christmas here since 2006!

He asks prayer that he might

adjust to working-at-a-distance

from the USA and for those who

are filling in for him there while

he is here. We hope to have him

visit Trinity sometime in Decem-

ber or January.

One way to get to know people is

to have them in your home. Re-

cently, Lisa in Central Asia had a

birthday party for 3-year old

Evan. Local mothers were invited

along with their own 3-year olds.

Lisa felt like she got a lot closer

to the other moms. Husband

Larry is working on a project to

reach businessmen. Instructors

are needed who not only have

expertise in their field but also

have a burden to share the Mes-

sage of Reconciliation. Could that

be you?

James in Asia asks prayer for a

9-person team who are there now

for 11-days. He says, “We sure do

want to do what the Lord wants

and not our own plans and ideas.”

Please pray for direction, health,

safety and no security breach.

Also, since the main translator’s

Dad died last Sunday, please ask

Father to raise up other transla-

tors. They also need His guidance

in determining where some of the

smaller cities are in terms of hear-

ing the Good News.

Missions Sunday this year will be

on November 23. A dinner and

several brief presentations are

being planned in lieu of the even-

ing service, and tables will be

manned to provide information

about our various mission pro-

jects in Haiti, Idaho and China.

Trinity Chinese Fellowship

received a gift of several thousand

dollars. It has been earmarked for

the Naisu Mission Project. It will

help our Christian minority

friends in China to do follow-up

visits to our adopted people

group, as well as cover expenses

of future team members from

TCF. The next trip is in March

2015.
