Slated for June 26-27, the highlights of the event will include the John Alexander Memorial Golf Tournament, a tour of the school, an alumni family picnic, the Hall of Fame Induction Banquet and the "after" party. A schedule of events can be found on page 2 of this newsletter. so "save the date" and join us in celebrating 100 years of Catholic education at Morgantown St. Francis Principal's Letter to Alumni Greetings St. Francis Alumni! I hope this letter finds you well and in good health. It is hard to believe that we are nearing Spring already and soon thereafter will once again be gathering for the Alumni Weekend in June! This has been a fabulous school year at St. Francis. At 389, our enrollment is stronger than it has been in four years. All signs, such as adding early childhood classrooms and having an advanced technology curriculum in the upper grades, point toward continued growth as well. I’m pleased to report to you that the gym renovations are finally complete. The true Trojan colors of black and red, along with the original Trojan logo, are now firmly established in the gym. Along with that, all seven championship team (Catholic and State) photos are hung in the entrance of the gym. It is great to see the younger innocent faces in those photos of so many of you that I met last summer! Trojan Staff to be Honored Teachers, past and present, invited back for school’s 100th anniversary
The year 2015 will mark 100 years of St. Francis Catholic School. In honor of the milestone, the Alumni Association will recognize teachers who have served the school, at the Second Annual Hall of Fame Banquet in June. Teachers, past and present, will be invited to participate in the weekend’s events. If you have a favorite teacher you would like to invite to the dinner, please access the form below. Funds will be used to pay for the teachers’ dinners at the banquet.

Achievement Hall of Fame Nominations The Achievement Hall of Fame committee is taking nominations for the 2015 Hall of Fame. The Achievement Hall of Fame was instituted to honor those St. Francis alumni, faculty or staff that have greatly contributed to the legacy of St. Francis School or have achieved personal or professional excellence.
To submit a nomination, please fill out the form that can be found in this issue. Deadline for nominations: April 30, 2015. Honorees will be featured in the next issue of the Trojan Times.
Donate to the Endowment
The Morgantown St. Francis Alumni Association (MSFAA) has set up an endowment to fund both academics and athletics at St. Francis School. The goal is to raise $150,000 to be maintained as the principal for the fund. Monies above that amount will be used to support both academic and athletic needs of the school. To date, $55,000 have been raised. Last year's fund-raising efforts netted $14,000 for the endowment.
Henceforth, the Trojan Times will contain an Endowment Contribution Form that may be used to contribute to the fund. All contributions made directly to the endowment or to our fundraisers and activities are tax deductable. Please consider what a Catholic education has provided for you, continues to provide for our youth and if you are able..."pay it forward."
