Term 4 Week 6 Monday, 14th November 2016

Truscott Street Primary School’s P&C are organising a

Fete to be held in the school grounds on

Sunday, 17 September 2017, from 10am to 4pm.

Hopefully you’ve had some time to visit the school’s new play equipment. It has many improvements on the

former play equipment and now offers new activities, new equipment, and new challenges for all of our students.

You may be aware that P&C funds were used to help pay for the current play equipment. The money raised at

next year’s fete will replenish the P&C’s account and our goal is to raise $25,000.

On fete day, the school grounds will be abuzz with activities including the Main Stage entertainment area,

Amusement Rides, Kids Quarter (filled with fun activities), Sideshow Alley, Food Alley, a great variety of stalls,

Devonshire Tea, Raffles and Chocolate Wheel, Disco, White Elephant Stall, a Pre Loved Book stall, and the

ever-popular Teacher’s Sausage Sizzle.

Next year there will be many opportunities to become involved in preparations, donate goods, help with ideas,

volunteer your time and together this will contribute to the success of the school’s fete.

A fete year at Truscott Street Public School is always very busy and exciting too, especially for our students,

teachers and families.

Preparations are well underway and you will receive lots of information and updates in the school’s weekly

Newsletter.

If you have a business or work in a company that you feel could help with items or services for the fete, please

contact Narelle Bowen at [email protected] to discuss the possibilities.

We hope your child or children, enjoy the remainder of this year and we look forward to a fantastic 2017 at this

wonderful school!!
