Welcome to the August edition. Delivering the August edition of the Tuggeranong Market Review would have to be one of our favourites. Why? Because it means that Spring is just around the corner - which helps us all power through the icy Canberra days! Reviewing the Tuggeranong market performance over the past month, you would be forgiven for doing a double-take on last month’s statistics, with the results almost displaying the same picture. Minor differences noted: a slight increase on ‘days on market’ (expected during this period) and a slight dip in current stock reaching agreement. Overall, for those homes reaching agreement - it was all good news, with the average regional sale price jumping by close to $30,000! This would undoubtedly be due to the low stock levels Tuggeranong is currently experiencing. According to the latest Domain National Home Auction Market Report, Canberra recorded another solid clearance rate over the last month of 63.2 per cent. Peter Blackshaw Real Estate reported an average auction clearance rate of 71% over the last two weeks.

We were delighted to be invited to participate and support Playground Dreaming, a weekend of art food friendship and fun, hosted by our good friends at St Anthony’s School. This will be the second event this year they have invited Peter Blackshaw Tuggeranong to participate in. Please come along to the Southern Cross Club from the 7th-9th of August and join in the fun and festivities.
