It can be installed in combat-trainer versions of these aircraft, and is adapted for powering other existing trainers, combat-trainers, and those under development to be used as light attack aircraft. The automatic control system of previous design is implemented for retrofitting earlier produced L-39 and JL-8 aircraft. At the Customer's demand the engine can be modified to be automatically controlled by a FADEC-type system.
