Not all of the students will be able to attend Mass every day. Please consider attending the 6:30am Mass. You are welcome at the school Mass if you cannot make it to the early Mass. Thank you for your understanding and fidelity to Christ in these unique circumstances. FACE MASK REMINDER In keeping with the current guidelines issued by the mayor of Lincoln, please make sure to bring and wear a mask when you come to Mass. When you are seated and are certain you are spaced 6 feet from people of a separate household, you may remove your mask. Anytime you stand and when you come forward for Communion, please be sure to replace the mask. As a reminder, the proper way to wear a mask is to have it covering both nose and mouth. Masks are not required outside the Church in the courtyard. Please also be mindful there are some who are unable to wear masks due to age, disabilities or health conditions. Thank you for helping in the effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 and protect the most vulnerable among us. BLOOD DRIVE The Community Blood Bank Mobile Unit will be in St. Peter's parking lot for the Back To School Blood Drive on Monday, August 17th from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. PETER WOMEN’S FRIDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY begins September 11. We will be exploring Untold Blessing, a Bishop Barron series. All are most welcome. "Mom Bod, Breaking free from the Chains of a Poor Body Image” with Megan McDermott. Lincoln Mothers on a Mission (MOMs) is a group of Catholic mothers searching for fellowship, hope, & joy in our ever-changing vocation. THE BENEDICT XVI DIOCESAN SCHOOL OF CATECHESIS is now virtual and in-person! This class is for Catholics wanting to strengthen their intellectual and spiritual formation to empower their evangelical mission in the world. It covers the Creed, the Sacraments, the Commandments, and Prayer (Year I) as well as Salvation History, Church History, Faith and Reason, and Spirituality (Year II). The time commitment is one Saturday a month from September to April for two years. The cost is $100 per semester, however, those who teach CCD, God-teen/CYO, or in Catholic schools would receive a 25% discount. CONFIRMATION RETREAT All students being confirmed along with their parents are invited to attend the “Confirmed in Mission” Retreat! It will be held Saturday, October 3rd 10 am - 4:30 pm at Camp Kateri in McCool Junction. This day-long event is an opportunity for parents, along with their child, to come together as they learn about how we are to live our lives as a Confirmed person!
