JOSEPH MISSALS FOR CYCLE B BEGINNING NOVEMBER 29 (1st SUNDAY OF ADVENT) We will be taking pre-orders of the St. Joseph Missal this year. Because of the pandemic and limits to Masses we need to get a better idea of how many books we will need. The suggested offering is $4 per missal. If you would like to order a Cycle B 2021 Missal please call, or send a note to the Rectory Office by October 30th. You can also place an order in the collection box or through the Rectory mail slot. Payment is not required until you get the book but will be accepted with the order. We will order a limited number above what is pre-ordered so to guarantee you have a copy please request one! THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT in last week’s Peter’s Pence Collection! Our contributions, combined with those from our brothers and sisters around the world, provide essential support for the Holy See’s activities and help Pope Francis relieve the victims of wars, oppression, and natural disaster around the world.

THE WOMEN’S CLUB basket raffle drawing will be December 11th! If you would like to donate a basket please contact Judy at 570-325-3310. The NAME of the basket is needed no later than Monday, October 19th, so tickets can be prepared! Thank you to everyone for their generous support to all their fundraising efforts that benefit the parish children!

World Mission Sunday, Oct 17/18 Next weekend we will celebrate World Mission Sunday. Pope Francis asks us to respond to our baptismal call to mission by saying “Here I am, Send Me.” This is the mission that all Christians have received, and God gives us the grace to live it out wherever we may be. In a world where so much divides us, World Mission Sunday rejoices in our unity as missionaries by our Baptism, as it offers each of us an opportunity to support the life-giving presence of the Church among the poor and marginalized in more than 1,111 mission dioceses. Please keep the Pope’s mission in your prayers and be generous in next weekend’s collection for the Society of the Propagation of Faith. Extra envelopes are available at the church entrance for those who would like one. SHOP MOTHER PAULINE’S THRIFT SHOP! Now featuring Men’s, Women’s, & Children’s fall & winter clothing. We have Halloween costumes and decorations! Stop by and see what deals you can find! Store hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 9am to 1pm.
