About the Workshop
The growing health care challenges globally is a concern among the researchers, policy makers, healthcare
practitioners, academicians and the masses. Current times have shown that this can no longer be taken for
lesser priority. Many countries are toiling hard to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets on
health. The current global health crisis demands research on health and healthcare of the people nationally as
well as internationally. The envisaged Two Day National Workshop on ‘Method and Approaches for Health
Research in Social Sciences’ is the need of the hour wherein understanding the socio-behavioural and cultural
context of health and healthcare has become paramount. The workshop will guide the research scholars,
students as well as practitioners who are interested in undertaking health research using multi-pronged
approaches like quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods ones for doing good scientific research. The
workshop is designed in such a manner that it will be useful for followers of disciplines in Social Sciences,
Humanities and Health Research. The Two Day National Workshop will be conducted virtually on 26th and
27th June 2021.
