And with that they are raking in the awards. “We received first place for the Operation- al Group of the Year awarded to the Good- wood Crime Prevention Unit. In addition, our station commander received an award for Station Commissioner of the Year,” said WO Wayne Theunis at Goodwood Police Sta- tion. The Annual Prestige Awards were held at the Old Mutual Building in Pinelands on Fri- day 21 June. The general feeling of positivity, team- work and pride is shared by all 14 members of the unit. The team managed to reduce contact crime by 14,5 %, property crimes by 6,8 % and serious crime by 5,6 %. This was achieved through dedication, discipline and hard work. Challenges “The Goodwood team operated in the true sense of the word team. Members remained focused, motivated and professional through a difficult and challenging year,” says Asaram. She continues that she is truly humbled, appreciative and proud of Goodwood police. Asaram says it is the very first time for the Goodwood police to receive such prestig- ious awards. “The key to our success is that we operated as a team, constantly looking at the scoreboard, where generators of crime especially drug houses and pubs, were strict- ly addressed. This contributed to the huge reduction in crime. “We have developed a strategic operation- al plan after thorough deliberation with all members and community structures, and ensured that this plan was executed, moni- tored and evaluated regularly. Various oper- ational tactics were executed that had a huge impact in reduction of crime,” Asaram says. Top of the world tofight dreaded TBANDRÉ BAKKES
What does suffering from tuberculo-sis (TB) and climbing Kilimanjarohave in common?
While scaling the highest free-standingmountain in the world at 5 895 metres onemight experience shortness of breath, nau-sea and hallucinations.
These are just some of the symptoms andside effects of TB and its treatment.
A clinical psychologist at BrooklynChestHospital, Leigh Rynhoud (40), will attemptto conquer the mountain in September andraise funds for the hospital, particularly forthe treatment of deadly strains of TB.
The Bothasig resident says the funds willbe used for two projects, namely visitortransport and a work-skills project.
“I know how important support from thepatient’s family is and some of them cannotafford to come for a visit. As for the work-skills project, some of the reasons why peo-ple end up getting TB include not eatinghealthily or not looking after themselvesappropriately. To just release them fromhospital and put them in the same situationafter a year of fighting the illness doesn’thelp. Theymust learn something new,” sheexplains.
The hospital treats about 250 patientswho suffer from Extremely Drug ResistantTB (XDR-TB).
In Rynhoud’s professional capacity, shefaces a proverbial Kilimanjaro every day.
Shehas tomotivate patientswhoare star-ing death in the face.
“During therapy I would sometimes tellthe patient to look at Table Mountain. Iwould say: ‘You can’t wish yourself to the
top. All you can do is try. And even whileyou walk around the hospital grounds, ifthat is your training for climbing it, it isstill training for climbing that mountain’,”continues Rynhoud.
So, in order to raise funds and motivateher patients, she has decided to climb Kili-manjaro.
“It could take a patient up to a year toovercome TB, so my journey started on TBDay on 25March andwill end a year later,”she says.
Rynhoud will be paying for the trip her-self, so all themoney raisedwill go straightto the hospital. The success of her journeydepends on people out there donating mon-ey for a good cause.
According to her, people gladly donatemoney for cancer orHIV/Aids, but they arenot so considerate when it comes to TB.
One of these reasons, according to Ryn-houd, is that people tend to underestimatethe disease. Which leads to the question,how serious is TB really?
She sums up the problem in her blog(www.kileighmanjarovstb.blogspot.com):“According to the WHO, approximately 8,7million people became ill with TB in 2011,1,4 million people died and 10 million chil-dren were left orphaned after their parentssuccumbed to this disease worldwide. It isestimated that in the 22 high burden coun-tries there are 10million people livingwithactive TB. Sub-Saharan Africa has thehighest proportion of newcases per popula-tion in the world. Die operasie wat gelei het tot dié arresta-sie, was te danke aan ’n nuuskierige inwo-nerwat die distrikswagte skuins ná 21:00 opVrydag 21 Junie geskakel het.
Dit nadat ’n verdagte groen Toyota Con-quest in die kompleks rondgery het.
Peter Allen, die sekerheidsbestuurdervan Burgundy Estate, bevestig dat ’n inwo-ner twee mans opgemerk het wat by drieverskillende wooneenhede in die kompleksingebreekhet.Die verdagtes is voor die ven-sters en voordeure van verskeie eenhedeopgemerk. Hierdie eenhede se eienaars wasglo in daardie stadiumweg tydens die skool-vakansie.
DWhet onmiddelik ondersoek ingestel enhet ook die Bothasig-polisie geskakel.
Nadat die gesteelde artikels in die voer-tuig gelaai is, het die boewe spore gemaak.
Maar Mark Horstman, bedryfsbestuur-der van DW, sê die boewe se gulsigheid washul ondergang.Hulle hetweer eens terugge-kom om verder in te breek, maar hul voer-tuig is deur die DW se sekerheidsvoertuigopgemerk.Hy sêhulle het probeer omverbydie sekerheidsvoertuig te beweeg, maar by-stand is ingeroep en die res van die Botha-sig-polisie en DW was binne enkele minuteop die toneel om bystand te verleen.
Intussen het die twee verdagtes beheeroor hul voertuig verloor en het teen ’n paalgebots.
“Die verdagteshet probeerwegjaag,maarhet by die toegangshek ons reaksie-voertuiggesien. Hulle het 250 m verder die voertuigafgeskryf nadat hulle oor die randsteen vandie sypaadjie gery het en ’n paal getref het,”sê Horstman.
Beide verdagtes is gearresteer deur DW-offisiere, Hennie Smit en Brian Butler,waar die voertuig tot stilstand gekom het.
Bothasig-polisie het die verdagtes polisie-kantoor toe geneem en beslag gelê op dievoertuig.
Twee plasma-televisiestelle en twee selfo-ne is binne die voertuig gevind.
Daar is ook ses televisie-afstandsbeheer-toestelle, sowel as handskoene gevind.
“Die verdagtes het die kompleks verlaatmet twee televisiestelle en teruggekeer vir’n derde. Dit is waar hulle deur DW gewaaren gearresteer is. Die derde woonstel seplasmastel was op die kombuistafel reg omgelaai te word,” sê Horstman.
Hy sê daar is by die drie woonstelle inge-breekwat oor geen alarmstelsels beskik hetnie.
Inwoners word vermaan om ’n goedge-keurde alarmstelsel van South African In-truder Detection Services Association(SAIDSA) in hul huise te installeer om hul-self en hul bates te beskerm.

on a Winter Preparedness Plan of Action toclean and clear stormwater systems anddrain inlets every year.City workers and contractors continue to
remove debris blocking the city’s stormwa-ter system. This encompasses a more than 7500 km network of stormwater pipes and cul-verts, 180 000 catch pits, 1 200 km of riversand open channels, and 680 retention ponds.“Blockages causedby rubbishdumped into
stormwater drains, canals, and rivers, result
in widespread flooding,” said Vos.He said it was only by more regular clean-
ing of the stormwater drain inlets that poten-tially dangerous flooding can be prevented.Vos said the public has a vital role to play
in this regard.“If every homeowner took a little more
care of his front verge, gutter and any nearbymunicipal drain inlet, a lot of the problemswould be lessened or solved,” Vos said.Vos said it was also important to ask any-

SmartCape gives libraries an edge
SmartCape computers have been installed in Bothasig as part of the city’s initiative to educatelearners and to give those who do not have access to the internet the opportunity to connect tothe bigger world. PHOTO: TINA BURGER

An initiative by the City of Cape Town haschildren in Goodwood, Bothasig, Edgemeadand Tyger Valley among others, very excit-ed.
Across libraries in these areas new Smart-Cape computers are being installed whichoffer free internet access for up to 45 minutesper session.
The concept, which was first introducedby the city in 2001 has now shown drasticmembership growth as well as increasedbook circulation.
All this due to the installation of theSmartCape computers across these areas.
Corné Wessels, Grade 7 pupil at WolraadWoltemade Primary says the initiative ex-pands the research scope for doing his home-work.
His mother, Natalie Wessels from Both-asig says the easy internet access is some-thing even she could make use of.
De Grendel Subcouncil Chairman, JamesVos oversees this introduction of the Smart-Cape computers at the local libraries.
“It is my firm belief that these computerswill create an environment for our youth toobtain valuable research skills, and will as-sist and teach them about information re-
trieval,” Vos says.The project also provides the opportunity
for residents in the community to be empow-ered with knowledge from the internet.
But it does not stop here. Updated softwarewill be provided by the city in the upcomingmonths and it is available to anyone with avalid library card.
Programs such as word processing,spread sheet, presentations, Typing Tutorand Acrobat Reader will be installed. Pro-grams on how to start your own business arealready available.
Job seekers can also make use of thesecomputers to access resume-templates (CVs)or to search for data on the Britannica On-line.
Community announcements will be readi-ly available and a link for communicationwith the city’s municipal services will beadded, and easily accessible.
Each of Cape Town’s 100 public librarieshas up to five computers connected to the in-ternet.
These facilities are available at no chargeto all members of the libraries for up to 45minutes per session per day.
The computers can also be used to prepareand print personal documents, as well as tosend and receive email.
The intention is that citizens should alsobe able to get information about the servicesand activities of the city, as well as commu-nicate with the municipality.
“I believe that, after the introduction ofthe SmartCape project, our libraries will
now play a more meaningful and supportiverole in the development and enhancement ofeducation,” Vos says.

Teachers and retired teachers from Rich-wood and Atlantis are dancing their way tofame.
A group of 18 dancers are competing inthe official World Gymfest for Life eventwhich launches on Thursday, 4 July.
With only a few days left to practise, thisteam of dancers is diligent and focused.
They practise every Saturday at the Rich-wood community hall and see this opportu-nity as a step closer to their dreams.
They have qualified in a provincial SouthAfrican Gymnast Federations competitionwhere they won gold in order to participatein the International Gymfest.
Competing in this unique opportunity isa world-class entertaining gymnastics ex-travaganza according to Doreen Solomons,coach of the Richwood team.
International gymnastic groups from 20countries, comprising 1 500 participants,land in on Cape Town to take part in thisgroup gymnastics contest.
Groups, comprising all ages, both gen-ders, able bodied or disabled, will demon-strate their gymnastic flair through artis-tic, rhythmic, acrobatic, aerobic, aerial andtumbling movements, performing to theirchosen theme, with or without apparatus.
The Richwood team is doing a Spanishdance dressed in white garments withoutany apparatus.
Lorraine Swanepoel dances for the teamand has been an active team member since
1995 when she competed in the WesternCape dance competition.
“I am very excited about the upcomingcompetition. When I dance I transform my-self and forget about the world around me.Dancing is a passion of mine,” she says.
One of the youngest members is PravinGeysenberg. At age 24 he enjoys a challengeand sets goals for himself.
“I enjoy what I do and believe that ourgroup will succeed. One of the dances wedo is in collaboration with 250 national pro-vincial winners where we will be compet-ing for a world title,” he says.
Michelle Hoffmeester is also competingas part of the team at the InternationalGymfest “for all” competition.
She used to do ballet at school and is nowa teacher at Bellville Educational College.
“I am nervous about the competition, butI think all the teams are as well. This com-petition gives the normal person a chanceto compete at a higher level,” saysHoffmeester.
The team feels they would not have com-peted at this level if it was not due to Solo-mon’s coaching. “She pushed us to newheights,” Hofmeester says.
Groups from Richwood, Blackheath, Bel-har, Belvenie, Elsies River, Kuils River,Wesbank, Northpine, and Kraaifontein willcompete for bronze, silver and gold medalsat the Cape Town International ConventionCentre on 12 July.V For more information see our video on www.tygerburger.co.za.

For Richelle Graham, founder of the LuckyLucy Foundation, there is nothing morebeautiful in life than a severely abused andneglected animal miraculously recoveringto trust human beings again.In fact, for the past three years Richelle
along with her employees and volunteers atthe foundation have saved or dramaticallychanged the lives of thousands of destituteanimals in and around Cape Town.A commendable reason for this worthy
foundation to be a beneficiary at this year’sTygerBurger “Cause We Can” charity con-cert, which takes place at the Bellville CivicCentre on 28 July.This concert now in its 11th year, will fea-
ture the likes of Juanita du Plessis, AmandaStrydom, Karen Zoid, Albert Frost, KoosKombuis and many more.It all started in 2010 when Richelle found
a dog tied to a railway line. Trains had goneover her, her leg was severed and she was
pregnant.She was rushed to the Market Street Ani-
mal Hospital in Paarl where vets did an emer-gency operation to try stabilise her. Herman-gled right front leg was amputated but due tothe shock and traumaendured, and the anaes-thetic and painmedication administered, shelost all her puppies.They named her Lucy, and the newly
formed foundation was named in her honour.Since then Lucky Lucy has gone through ex-tensive rehabilitation at the Lucky Lucy ani-mal shelter, where she slowly adjusted to theamputation.Today she is a very important part of the
Lucky Lucy Foundation’s education drive.She takes trips to schools, so that when her
story is told she can help teach about justice,respect and compassion for all life.The LuckyLucy Foundation is a non-profit,
pro-life, pro-quality of life organisation thattries to relieve the plight of severelyneglectedand abused township and street animals, butalso to socially uplift and educate destitute
and impoverished children and people inand around Cape Town.“Lucky Lucy is an ambassador for the
voiceless. We oppose any form of crueltyto any animal, be it kicking a dog to inhu-manemethods of slaughter forhumancon-sumption,” says Richelle.After three yearsRichelle staysmotivat-
ed to see each and every one of the animalsthey rescue find happiness in what shecalls a “forever home”.She believes the battle against animal
cruelty and overpopulation in the city canbe won.“My deepest wish is that all like-minded
organisations get together and collaboratebecause only through coalition do I havefaith that it can be done.”Funds and monetary support remain
her biggest challenges to date as the foun-dation stares down ever-growing vet bills,food bills and staff salaries. Apart fromthis they are constantly in need of “adop-tive parents” for their animals.
“Many people have not yet been reachedto be educated on the effects of backyardbreeding and the facts out there. People needto know that going to any shelter first beforefinding a furry companion might just meanchanging the life of that rescued animal for-ever and there is nobetter feeling than that,”she says.They currently have over 180 animals on
the foundation’s farm, ranging from dogsand cats to ducks, chickens and pigs.As Richelle and the team at Lucky Lucy
continues their brave work, her message tothe South African public remains strong.“People should join our network of hun-
dreds of people working to make South Afri-ca safe and more humane for all living crea-tures...” she says.Every cent of each ticket purchased from

A month or two ago it waspublished in the TygerBurgerthat crime in Goodwood haslessened considerably. I trulyfeel that this statement is nottrue at all, and I am sure mostof the community feel thesame. I have stayed in Good-wood for 30 years, and neverhave I felt more unsafe as I donow. In this year alone, in ourstreet (De Villiers) they havebroken into numerous cars.
They have tried to break intoour house. My mother caughtthe suspect at our window,with a brick in his hand.
The week after, they stolethe watertap at the front of thehouse. One block away theybroke into someone’s house,with the people in the house. Ithink one burglar was lockedup, and one got away.
Last week, they broke intoour neighbour’s house acrossfrom us, in midday, and stolevarious things while no oneeven noticed. It was said the“trolley guys” are the ones thattarget the houses. Then whynot do something about it?Mondays are dustbin days. Ihave seen this morning at leasttwo or three trolley guys.
I have seen men sitting infront of the houses in theircar, with cellphones and theylook very suspicious. Whenthey notice you, they drive offor move down to the next road.
The police need to dosomething about this, asclearly our street has been“targeted”, or must it come tothe point where someoneactually gets killed for them todo something?

Help our furryfriends livebetter livesThey are man’s best friends and love usunconditionally, yet too often the animalsin our communities are neglected andabused.
These animals end up in one of themany animal shelters who rescue andrehome unwanted and abused animals.
The Lucky Lucy Foundation, one of thebeneficiaries of this year’s ’Cause we Cancharity concert, is one such organisation.
The drive to encourage pet lovers toadopt rescues rather than buy pets,remains a difficult one.
While The Lucky Lucy Foundationbelieves in education and sterilisation,rather than euthanasia, the harsh realityis that the overpopulation of sheltersmeans some animals who don’t find their“forever home” face the risk of beingeuthanised.
By adopting a furry companion, youwill be saving a life, and in the process,you might just find yourself changed.
There are plenty of studies outliningthe benefits of animals as social andemotional support and according to theResearch Centre for Human/Animalinteraction at the University of MissouriCollege of Veterinary Medicine interact-ing with animals can increase Oxytocin,which helps us feel happy.
Of course, there are those of us unableto offer the space an animal needs, butthat doesn’t mean we can’t help.

Keeping an eye on errant taxisThe traffic department has intensified en-forcement approaches at locations close toschools, paying particular attention tomini-buses transporting schoolchildren.As a result, several hundred taxis were
fined and impounded for various offencessince the beginning of the year.This was said by James Vos, De Grendel
Subcouncil chairman, during a recent meet-ing.He said these operations focus on common
violations, such as unroadworthy vehicles,and offences such as reckless or negligentdriving.“The number of offending vehicles is
alarming, considering these vehicles trans-port thousands of people, including chil-
dren, every day,” he said.I believe there needs to be a better regula-
tory framework within the taxi and publictransport industry,” said Vos.The city has a dedicated public transport
unit which investigates all taxi-related com-plaints.This unit is complemented by a taxi ghost
squad teamandmetro police officerswho as-sist with enforcement operations.Vos said officers are vigilant and deter-
mined and will do all they can to keep roadssafe.He said during several operations with
traffic services and law enforcement offic-ers, hehas personally observedmanymotor-ists and minibus drivers wilfully breaking
the law at several locations throughout thewards of his subcouncil.“A no-nonsense approach must be taken.
We are inundated with complaints relatingto the taxi industry, and need to take controlof our streets again by clamping downonun-ruly driving behaviour,” said Vos.He added it was concerning that children
are transported on the back of open vehicles,such as bakkies.“Enforcementwill be tougher and if neces-

“I love entertaining people, it’s what Ido,” laugh-a-minute Emo Adamssays.
“It’s actually who I am,” he says, adding:“I’m very passionate about being on stage.”While Emo has been in the Afrikaans en-tertainment industry for about five years, hewas always performing. Therewasno epiph-any or decisive moment that pushed him to-wards his career choice.He jokingly points out that he doesn’tthink he had a choice in the matter, he saysinstead; his dad forcedhim into entertainingwith Malay choirs and “Kaapse Klopse”.“One thing led to another and now we aresitting here today,” he says.Emo is known for his hilarious stage pres-ence, which sometimes includes pullingsome funny faces.“I don’t think pulling faces was intention-al, it came over time,” Emo says, sayingagain that he just wants to entertain people.His dancing is another thing that keepsaudiences entertained. “I don’t think any-one taught me to dance, it was a case of imi-tating people,” Emo says.“If Michael Jackson’s on the TV, then youwanted to be like Michael Jackson,” Emosays, adding: “All the good movers and theiconic guys like JamesBrown,were the guysI liked.”
’Cause we CanThen of course there was his involvementwith the Malay choirs and “Kaapse Klopse”which also helped.Emo is one of the artists who continuallysupport TygerBurger’s ’Cause we Can con-certs by performing for free at the show eve-ry year.“I perform at ’Cause we Can every year,because I can, and I want to,” he says.
“With success comes responsibility andthat means you eventually have to help oth-er people,” Emo explains. “It’s all about car-ing and sharing,” he adds.“We do a lot of charities throughout theyear, ‘CauseweCan is just oneof them,”Emosays, adding that he feels that it’s his socialresponsibility to give back.Emowill be at Die Boer this weekwith hisband, Take Note.Emo says the smaller audiences and thespace to test new material are among thethings that make performing at Die Boerspecial.“For me, Die Boer is one of those thingsin your career you just have to do,” he says,adding: “It’s just one of those places with alegacy.”When he isn’t on stage elsewhere, Emo isworkingwith one of his new projects, his All
Star Theatre in Brackenfell.“It was a dream,” Emo says of the theatre.With no help from investors, Emo saved tobe able to open the theatre himself.
Legacy“Like Die Boer, I want to provide a plat-form that can become a legacy for other art-ists.” He wants the theatre to be a space fornew performers as well as more establishedname.Emo and his band, Take Note, do morethan 250 shows a year. He says his businessside, like working with the theatre and withother artists and his involvementwith hous-ing developments is what keeps him sane.“The entertainment industry is becomingoverwhelming, so you have to find otherways to give energy to and focus on,” Emoexplains.

The secondWorldGym for Live Challenge ta-kes place from 11-13 July at the Cape TownInternational Convention Centre (CTICC).
Some 22 countries, comprising 1 500 parti-cipants,will soonarrive inCapeTown to takepart in an international world class gymnas-tics event. The event, the second edition heldby the International Gymnastics Federation(FIG), takes place every four years. The firsteditionwasheld inDornbirn,Austria in 2009.
Gymnasts from around the world will con-test in group performances, whereby 70groups will challenge for bronze silver andgold medals. Gold medalists (16 groups) fur-ther contest on the night of the Gala Evening(finals) for the title of World Group Champi-on, where the winner will be crowned withthe Bruno Grandi Trophy by FIG President,Professor Bruno Grandi himself.
The South African Evening is also not oneto be missed, with the night comprising ashowcase of South African culture and gym-nastics. If the standing ovation and great ap-plause at the South African Evening of the2011 World Gymnaestrada in Lausanne wasanything to go by, the 2013 South African
Evening will be another show-stopping per-formance. There will be no holding back interms of entertainment, especially with theevent being held on home ground.
Additionally, there will be an Opening Ce-remony the morning of Contest Day 1, whichwill feature over 400 gymnasts from the 2013WordGym forLifeChallengeCommunityLe-gacy Programme.

Cape Town’s club rugby leagues are setfor an overhaul next season when thecurrent format of the competition will
be scrapped.The Western Province Rugby Football Un-
ion (WPRFU) currently runs eight differentleagues of 10 teams each, with the top twogaining promotion to a higher league eachyear. The bottom two teams are relegated.
However, as of next year the top 45 clubsin the region will be split into three different15-team groups – A, B and C – as part of thesame “Premier Competition”.
The clubs seeded from 46-78 on the rank-ings will be divided into three different re-gional competitions, in the “Northern”,“Southern” and “City” Leagues.
The change in format has received con-trasting reactions from some of the city’sbiggest clubs. Michael Reynolds, chairper-son of South Africa’s oldest club, Hamil-ton’s, says he is against the change.
“It takes us away from the strength versusstrength (competition). Maties already beatthe lower sides in the Super League A by 80
points and now there are five sides that areweaker than the bottom sides in the league,”he says.
WeaknessReynolds adds that the new competition’s
other weakness is that teams will only playeach other once in the league stage, beforethe top six sides advance to knockoutrounds.
“The structure now – strength versusstrength, home and away – is the only wayit can work. That’s a true reflection. Youplay home and away, no excuses.”
The knockout phase of the competitionwill be similar to Super Rugby, with the toptwo in each group advancing to semi-finals,while teams placed three to six will face offin quarter-finals to determine the other twosemi-finalists.
Teams placed from seventh to 14 in thegroups will advance to a “Top Eight” knock-out competition, with quarter-finals, semisand a final.
Although the top two and bottom twoteams in each group will still be promotedand relegated, the promotion/relegation for-
mat has also changed. The third-placed teamin each league, expect Group A of the “Pre-mier Competition”, will face off against the13th-placed team in the lower league, withthe winner gaining promotion.
Chairperson of Primrose RFC, FaghierGamieldien, says the inclusion of a knock-out element is one of the primary reasons hevoted for the tournament.
“If you are in fourth place in Super LeagueB and you know you cannot be promoted ordemoted then what are you playing for?” hesays.
Opportunity“Every year you find Maties or the other
big clubs winning the Super League A. Thenew structure gives the other clubs a chancetowin the league. It gives everyoneanoppor-tunity to win.”
The regional leagues will take a similarformat, with the 11 teams in each leagueplaying the other sides in their league onlyonce.
The top three from each league will thenadvance to a combined league competition,to play a single round of matches to find an
ultimate winner.Teams placed from four to 11 will play an-
other round of games in their respectiveleagues.
Although the competition as a whole drewconflicting responses from the variousclubs, everyone agreed that a major down-sidewas the fact that the second, third or un-der-20 team competitions will not have aknockout competition.
Dr Nasief van der Schyff, Collegians RFCjunior vice-president, says the length of theseason could have socio-economic impactson some clubs.
“In the new format each team is guaran-teed only 14 games, while we are currentlyguaranteed 18 games,” he says.
“For a club like Collegians, which usesrugby as an alternative to gangsterism anddrugs, itmay result in usnot playing enoughrugby and putting players at risk of some ofthe socio-economic problems.”
Danny Jones, WPRFU general manager ofamateur rugby, declined the opportunity tocomment on the new structures, saying theunion was still in the process of finalisingsome aspects of it.
