Considering the current Stay- At-Home order, we would like to make the following

adjustments to allow for participation across our upcoming Special Events.

Mother’s Day:

As we try our best to stay on track with a structured schedule, we plan on planting the school vegetable garden in keeping up with our tradition for celebrating Mother’s Day. Even though we will miss celebrating with all our moms this year, we will adapt to keep everyone safe during this time. In lieu of having you here to plant in the school garden with your children, we would love to include all our moms/ families staying at home to be a part of this special celebration. You are welcome to pot seeds/ plants from the below list with your child in biodegradable pots and drop them off outside our garden on Friday, May 8th. Please be sure to use biodegradable pots (made of manure or paper) no larger than 3” so your love can be transposed directly to our garden. We hope that it brings the same sense of wonder to children as it did last year, that enjoyed planting & watching it grow during Science center and enjoyed the fruits of their labor during harvest season. We hope to celebrate with our parents just as we did last year and enjoy our very own fresh garden salsa and salad this year around. Seeds: Sweet Peppers Sunflower Seeds Vegetable Plants:

Tomato Vine

Cucumber Vine

Flowering Plants:

Pansies

Butterfly Bush

Teacher Appreciation Week: Due to the low counts in the building across children and teaching staff, we will delay our celebrations to the week of June 22nd

Spring Showcase: Our best estimate for the reschedule date is June 12th prior to child transitions for the new school year.

We hope that virtual enrichments can be re- continued on site after the Stay-At-Home order is lifted.

Pre-K Graduation Information

Graduation Virtual Online Ceremony (10:00am-11:00am) Students will be singing songs that have been taught throughout the year. I have attached the song links to practice if necessary and the lyrics as well. The songs are in order of the ceremony.
