UMS attainment at AS-level of applicants, by subject and offer status The graphs show the profile of our 2014 gathered field banded by their average UMS outcome across their best three subjects and differentiating those who received offers from the rest of the field. For the sciences courses other than Psychological and Behavioural Sciences, the average is computed using the best three subjects from Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Given that at the point of application it is not obvious whether certain Maths modules will count towards Maths or Further Maths we aggregate all Maths results into a single subject. AS and A2 units are all counted. Please note that in the subject specific graphs the sample sizes can produce some odd looking profiles by percentages receiving offers based on very small numbers of applicants. Note that the Engineering and Natural Sciences Chemical Engineering routes, all Education options, and Classics 3 and 4 year courses are all shown as combined figures.

UMS attainment at AS-level of applicants, by subject and offer status

The graphs show the profile of our 2014 gathered field banded by their average UMS

outcome across their best three subjects and differentiating those who received offers

from the rest of the field. For the sciences courses other than Psychological and

Behavioural Sciences, the average is computed using the best three subjects from

Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Given that at the point of application it is not

obvious whether certain Maths modules will count towards Maths or Further Maths

we aggregate all Maths results into a single subject. AS and A2 units are all counted.

Please note that in the subject specific graphs the sample sizes can produce some odd

looking profiles by percentages receiving offers based on very small numbers of

applicants. Note that the Engineering and Natural Sciences Chemical Engineering

routes, all Education options, and Classics 3 and 4 year courses are all shown as

combined figures.
