HI, NICE TO MEET YOU!I am hard working, creative, and, have been known to lighten up the mood when the going gets rough. Having worked 55-60 hour weeks at previous internships, I know first hand the rigor required to meet deadlines. I am self-motivated and crave a challenge. As an architecture student I was exposed to an open studio culture, where every day I had to pin up new ideas to sell to my classmates and professors. I can express my ideas through multiple mediums (2D and 3D), and I know the language of design.

I would describe my design aesthetic to be eclectic, yet clean. I love pops of bold, fresh color mixed with natural, honest materials. This can be said for my architecture/interiors as well as graphics. I have an eye for beautiful geometries, and know how to successfully use rhythm and repetition to discover eye-catching forms.

SPROUTenvironmental center

01Sprout is a center that teaches students how to live sustainably. The building itself provides teaching opportunities as well as exhibits and displays on the inside. The place is meant to feel natu-ral with the use of honest materials, but also fun and exciting for the kids.

02CAST IRON KITCHEN

restaurant and branding

This is a family style restaurant with a rustic, contemporary feel. The food is meant to seem homemade and cus-tomizable through different sized and shaped skillets. The materials selected give life and flexibility to the logo merging the architecture and graphics.

INTERBRAND design work

03At interbrand design forum I worked as an environmental intern for seven months. I worked on branded envi-ronments at all stages of the design process including sketching and con-cepting, rendering final solutions, and selecting and sampling materials.

DEEDSbridge and pavillion

04This peace pavillion and bridge was designed for Deeds Park located in Dayton, Ohio. It is a a place where countries can come together to negoti-ate and sign treaties. The relationship between the shells represent the dif-ferent stages of negotiation occuring in the building.

LIVE : MAKEindustrial arts center

05Here low income residents in the over-the-rhine community can apply to live while learning a trade in the industrial arts. Essentially this project merges residential units with a large scale wood shop while giving space back to the whole community.

THE CREAMERYconstruction documents

06This is a sampling of a set of construc-tion documents I completed while interning at Corporate Design and Development Group. I first completed this small ice cream store in autocad, and was then asked to put the project into two phases.

ALPHA RHO CHIdesign chair work

07For this project we were asked to design an educational sustainability center. Students would travel to the current site to learn about the environ-ment and how to care for it, but the existing facilities were becoming run down and too small. I decided since

GRAPHICSprocess and sketching

08This is a sampling of some of my graphics and process work. Included are some of my logo explorations for projects, as well as some marker sketches. I’m not afraid to get messy with mixed media to quickly colorblock and concept.
