The final quarter of Stay Connected 2012 offers a range of activities and projects that will see you through from the start of the new academic year in September to the Christmas celebrations in December. Activities and projects are aimed at the whole community and this programme offers something for children and adults.

TUESDAYSTerm time only Ages 5-7yrs : 16.30  - 17.30 hrsAges 8-10yrs: 17.45  - 18.45 hrs                                  Ages 11-18yrs: 19.00 - 21.00 hrs

Youth Club Sessions

Adults will be expected to drop off and pick up their children if they are under the age of 10.

Session times may be subject to change.

Stay & Play Sessions FREE

EVERY WEDNESDAY 10.00 – 11.30 hrs

Interactive sessions for parents/carers and children to learn through play in line with early years foundation stage.

This session is aimed at children aged 0-5yrs

Come along and join in the fun! This session is staffed by your local

Sure Start Centre in Ponteland. Please note: During Stay and Play

sessions adults are responsible for their own children at all times.

SSAFA Big Brew Up & Fancy Dress Fun Run

The Big Brew Up, 1 – 7 October 2012, is a national event where we invite the whole country to put the kettle on, get together and raise money for SSAFA Forces Help.

Join us to support SSAFA with this year’s Big Brew!

The Fun Run can be booked through the Welfare Office Proceeds go to SSAFA.

Come along and join in the fun.

£2.00 per person entry fee. (money raised goes to SSAFA)Open to all

Children’s Halloween Party

This event needs to be booked through the Welfare Office before the event.

Fancy Dress is optional (prizes for best costume)

Sure Start will provide activities of 0-5yrs and AWS will provide games/activities for over 5yrs.

Some of the activities on offer will be a Disco, Face Painting, Apple Bobbing etc.

Half Term Activities FREELook out for posters of activities during Half Term in the HIVE or through your door.

November 2012  Mind, Body & SpiritMind, Body & Spirit can cover a range of things from looking after yourself physically to taking time out to relax, check out the sessions available this month to help you do just that! Look out for events supporting National Road Safety Week and of course your local Bonfire displays!
