A SUCCESS STORY
Founded in June 1992, the success story of
GIB was already taking shape as the fledg-
ling company sought to ensure optimum use
of customers’ IT systems. While still work-
ing as a consulting partner for IBM, we soon
recognized that optimum use meant more
than simply installing the software correctly.
In close cooperation with our customers, we
saw that the installed software rarely met
the requirements of users. Poor displays
and media disruptions inspired us to create
a solution in which you could complete all
of those important tasks in your day-to-day
work quickly and with transparency.
We found an ideal basis during our inten-
sive research in SAP and on that foundation
we developed the GIB Suite, which enhanc-
es the standard SAP functions with full in-
tegration.
After launching the first application “Oper-
ations” in 2003, the GIB ABAP Program-
ming Templates soon followed within a few
years, as did other applications such as
“Controlling,” “Planning,” “Forecast,” “VMI,”
and “Buying.”
We’ve always viewed the seamless inte-
gration into the SAP system as the corner-
stone of our success to date. That is why
we’ve been a certified SAP software partner
since 2006 and proud SAP Silver Partner
since 2015. Our software, too, is certified:
the GIB Suite has been “Powered by SAP
NetWeaver” since 2006 and has also been
certified for SAP S/4HANA since 2018.
