Unit 4 - Racism in the Media

Summary: This unit will explore the effects of the perpetuation of racial stereotypes in the media. We will examine the role of minstrelsy in the development of negative points of view regarding people of color, then we will examine the effect of these stereotypes in the development of modern politics and sports.
