Thanks to you, United Way of Monroe County, our funded agencies and other community partners are making meaningful and lasting changes in our community. Last year alone, thanks to your kindness, we assisted over 44,000 individuals in Monroe County.

Your United Way is all about bringing people together to make our community a better place. Today, more than ever, we need to come together to combine our passion and dedication to bring about the positive change that can only happen when people are united in purpose.

With so many challenges threatening our community – from hunger and homelessness, to transportation and mental health, it is important that we work together to help those living in poverty, so that they too can achieve their dreams.

United Way cannot do it alone. Our partners cannot do it alone. Companies, individuals and the government cannot do it alone. But together, we can make a difference. And thanks to your support, we are making critical community investments through our four impact initiatives:

• Improving access to healthy food

• Supporting struggling working families

• Helping individuals and families with a safety net

• Connecting those in need with federal, state and local services available in our community
