Volunteers United is an easy way to match community members with nonprofit volunteer opportunities in our community. In partnership with The Community Foundation of Oneida and Herkimer Counties, we created the local Mohawk Valley COVID-19 Response Fund. This fund helped to connect local front-line organizations to needed resources. If you are 21-40 years of age and have donated $100 or more to United Way, you are a member of our ELU giving circle. As a member, you’ll have access to some cool perks and opportunities! Volunteer as a tax preparer or greeter. IRS-certified train- ing is available! United Way’s long-standing connection to our community has allowed us to successfully identify and solve pressing needs in the Mohawk Valley for almost 100 years.
