Promotion on the Info day

The University of Pristina, the Faculty of Engineering in Kosovska Mitrovica (UPKM) made the info day, on 1st of September 2017 at FTN Kosovska Mitrovica, where they promoted the Master study program Multimedia Communications Technologies, for the academic year 2017/2018, as can be done from Figure 1.

The employees of FTN Kosovska Mitrovica presented the Faculty, as well as the mentioned Master study program, the subjects that are being studied, and the attendees had the opportunity to get more information on the FTN's work and the manner of realization of the Master study process of Multimedia Communication Technology.

On April 17th, 2018 a FTN Open Day was held in the framework of which students from the final grade of secondary schools and gymnasium visited the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Kosovska Mitrovica. On that occasion, students got acquainted with study programs and study opportunities at FTN. High school students also visited the DBBT Laboratory - Multimedia HDTV studio and had the

opportunity to get acquainted with the study program Multimedia Communications Technologies and the DBBT project, Figure 2.

Promotion at the Education Fair

In Gračanica on March 29, 2018. the Third Education Fair was held, attended by the team of the Faculty of Technical Sciences. At the fair were presented study programs and study opportunities at Faculty of Technical Sciences. The visitors of the fair had the opportunity to get acquainted with the study program Multimedia Communications Technologies and the DBBT project, Figure 3.

Promotion in scientific publications

The University of Prishtina, the Faculty of Engineering in Kosovska Mitrovica (UPKM), also participated in scientific symposiums such as: SINTEZA (International Scientific Conference on Research Information Technologies and Data) organized by Singidnum University, ETRAN, and IntechOpen (Recent Advances in Image and Video Coding), Figure 4.

Teachers of UPKM have published more scientific papers whose topic is related to the topic of the DBBT project. In the publications, in the section ACKNOWLEDGMENT, the full name and number of the DBBT project was highlighted.

Promotion at the Education Fair

Higher Technical professional school Zvecan (HTPSZ) participated in the Education Fair, where they also presented the HTPSZ and promoted the Master study program DBBT, as can be seen from Figure 5.

Promotion of Specialized laboratory Audio-studio

HTPSZ promoted “Specialized laboratory Audio-studio” equipped in the framework of DBBT project, in front of representatives of the Local Self-Government, employees of local radio & TV stations units as well as in front of students and teachers.

Through this project, Multimedia technology study program has been upgraded - the second level study program. Participation in this project has enabled the school to acquire very valuable equipment for performing practical teaching for students both at basic and specialist studies.

The participants were welcomed by the School Director, Dr. Uroš Jakšić, emphasizing the value and importance of the newly-established laboratory for both students and the local and regional broadcast transmitters. Dr Jakšić also presented plans regarding the establishment of the Specialized laboratory Audio-studio, which will raise the education in the school to an even higher level and enable students of basic and specialist studies to get acquainted with the set curriculum and program of planned laboratory exercises with the way and handling of sophisticated equipment, briefly explaining the purpose of the equipment and devices in the laboratory, Figure 6.

Promotion of University of Banja Luka (UNIBL)

Round table

At the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL) , 4th of November 2016, held a round table, on whitch it is prof. Dokić welcomed the present members and opened the session. The current development stage is described, as well as progress and outcomes.

The representatives from University of Banja Luka, University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica, Technical University of Madrid, RT-RK Institute, Communications Regulatory Agency, ATV, RTRS and ELTA cable operator were present at the meeting.

This meeting was hosted as part of XI. Symposium on Industrial Electronics – INDEL 2016, in order to further promote the project ideas and results. Prof. Bojanić of the Technical Faculty in Madrid presented more details about the project and highlighted the role of industrial partners. Prof. Teslić of RT-RK institute then presented a set-up box for student practice and provided details about the cooperation between the RT-RT Institute and Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. Prof. Joković presented the draft version of the curriculum and explained the focus the new curriculum would have. Mr. Kovač from Communications Regulatory Agency (RAK) explained the challenges and situation in the development of DTV in public services. Mr. Kopanja from ATV pointed out the differences between the courses in telecommunication and computer science, and expressed the need to bridge the gap between the two in the new curriculum, especially concerning the obligatory courses. Prof. Teslić and prof. Joković highlighted the courses in which this issue is resolved, pointing out that the initial idea was to provide the students with general understandings, as well as with more specific knowledge of DTV technology. Mr. Marković from RAK proposed further improvements of the curricula. as can be seen from Figure 7.

International symposium INDEL 2016

The International Symposium INDEL 2016, 1st of November 2015, organized by the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL), was attended by a large number of authors from all countries.

On that occasion, prof. dr. Branko Dokic stated that this symposium is for the first time sponsored by the IEEE Institute for the entire world, and for the first time all the presentations from this

conference will be available electronically to all scientists working in this area around the world. Here, this conference is special in relation to others.

At the symposium, it was also about starting a master program in the field of digital television. The newly elected Mayor of Banja Luka supported the idea of master study from first rows.

Symposium of Energy Efficiency - ENEF 2017

Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka in the period from November 3rd to 4th, 2017, was the host of 3rd Symposium on Energy Efficiency – ENEF 2017.

Part of the Symposium's activity was dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of the Erasmus + project Implementation of the study program - Digital Broadcasting and Broadband (Master Studies), so that the professor took part in the Symposium. Slobodan Bojanic (UPM).

Small System Simulation Symposium SSSS

In 2016 and 2018, the Small Systems Simulation Symposium was held, on which prof. Slobodan Bojanic took part, with the thesis “LSM Polyphase gm-C Filter” (Srdjan Milenkovic, Vanco Litovski, Slobodan Bojanic and Octavio Nieto Taladriz Garcia, 2018), and with a round table - "Implementation of the study program - Digital Broadcasting and Broadband Technologies (Master studies) ".

ETRAN

At the ETRAN Symposium (IcETRAN 2017), prof. Slobodan Bojanic (UPM), prof. Mile Petrovic (UPKM), Branimir Jaksic (UPKM), Sinisa Ilic (UPKM) and Matevz Pogacnik (Slovenia) on scientific-research work on the topic: Study framework for DBBT master in Western Balkans countries.

SINTEZA

SINTEZA, International Scientific Conference on Information Technology and Data Research on Research on Information Technology and Data Related Research was held in Belgrade on 20th of April, 2018. It was co-organized with the DBBT (Digital Broadcasting and Broadband Technologies) TEMPUS project and hosted by the Singidunum University. SINTEZA provides an ideal platform for the exchange of information and dissemination of best practices, advancements in the state-of-the-art and technical improvements in the domain of ICT and e-business related research in today's ubiquitous and virtual environment. Rapid advances in information and communication technology (ICT) in recent decades have had a huge impact on numerous facets of everyday life and have created tremendous opportunities for economic, technological and social gains at a global scale. New technologies and scientific breakthroughs have altered the working and living environments making them safer, more convenient and more connected. As a key infrastructure of knowledge-based economies, ICT is a driving force for rapidly growing new sectors, including advanced computing and software development, business process outsourcing and various Internet services. The conference seeks submissions from academics, researchers, and industry professionals presenting novel research on all practical and theoretical aspects in the field of ICT and their applications in a range of business and research fields.

Two last years SINTEZA conference contains one special session dedicated to DBBT project: “Digital Broadcasting Systems”.

Objectives: - Presenting the general and specific results of the DBBT TEMPUS project; Participants: The seminar was attended by as many as 100 persons from the institutions involved in both given projects, and from a number of universities and colleges in Serbia not participating in any of the

projects. The Attendance List is available on the SINTEZA platform, for consortium partners only platform and some of them are also available on the project website.

Some of the participants are from WB HEIs, some of them are from the WB companies, clinics, ministeries of defense etc. All of them are equaly important for the project dissemination.

Some of the participants from WB and Europe are:

Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Sinergija University, University of Novi Sad, University of Kragujevac, University of Belgrade, Univesity of Priština.

This conference was also attended by prof. Bojanic from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).
