This program is now being used internationally as a method to transform healthcare. Research on the project is being used by Sylvester Cancer Center and UM Sports Medicine, which has served as a valuable research and service learning tool for nearly 100 UM Students. It is also being used to test and provide nutritional information for all of the UM athletes across all sports. Several students choose to do an internship experience with this initiative.

2016-Present: The Exercise Physiology Students & Graduate Nutrition Students, serve UM employees using the Guardrails Assessment as a unique form of service-based learning in the field of corporate wellness. UM Benefits provides insurance premium incentives for employees who improve their health scores on this novel assessment.
