Programme of the International Master's Course:
The Master's Course will start in October 2011.

The intensive program is organised in two distinct
Courses (two sessions of 5 days each):
1A) Minimally invasive initial treatment – Access cavity,
shaping and obturation.
1B) Training on patients in the Endodontic Department
2A) Non surgical endodontic retreatment and surgical
microendodontics
2B) Training on patients in the Endodontic Department
The Courses include theoretical lessons and pre-clinical practical sessions on simulators and extracted
teeth. The goal is to learn the use of the operating microscope in clinical and surgical
microendodontics. This is followed by practical sessions of clinical microendodontics on patients.

The duration of the Master's Course is one year. It includes theoretical lessons and pre-clinical

microscope. Course language: Italian.

Entrance requirement: candidates must be in possession of an adequate preparation in the
endodontic field.

The course targets both young graduates who already possess experience in the endodontic field and whose professional goal is to specialise in endodontics, and practicing professionals who seek to extend their knowledge of specifically-endodontic topics.
The duration of the course is one year, The course begins in January and ends in December.Lesson will take place at the Department of Endodontics, University of Turin Dental School, Lingotto, via Nizza 230, Turin, Italy. Each surgery is equipped with a top level Zeiss ProErgo microscope, with co-observation and 3CCD professional videocamera.Course language: Italian.
Entrance requirements are: Degree in Dentistry and Prosthodontics or Degree in Medicine and Surgery (under the previous university system); Specialised Degree in Dentistry and Prosthdontics, candidates must be enrolled on the Register of Dental Practitioners. Only for those with a Degree in Medicine and Surgery: candidates must be specialised in dentistry or the equivalent, or qualified to practice the dental profession. Admission to the Master's Course is after evaluation of candidates' curriculum vitae, with particular attention to qualifications and clinical experience.
Attendance of lessons and practical sessions is obligatory; these will take place twice monthly on MONDAYS from 8.30 to 18.00.Cost of the Master's Course: 10,000 euro.
The programme is as follows:
Teaching and training activities will include traditional lessons, alternative didactics (seminars of guided literature reviewing, presentation and discussion of clinical cases, meetings and lectures with outside experts, preparation of conference presentations), practical training on simulators and performance of clinical cases with specific characteristics and a range of difficulties.

The final test will be evaluated out of a possible total of 110 marks. The diploma “University Master's Degree in Clinical and Surgical Microendodontics” will be awarded to successful candidates.
Participants will be exonerated from acquiring CE credits for the year of the Master's Course.
