Upcoming Chamber Events Spring Ladies Night Out Friday, April 28 We have 9 participating businesses who will be pampering the ladies on April 28 from 4:00-8:00. All are welcome - just stop in at any one of the businesses listed and pick up your punch card. When you have visited each business and gotten a stamp on your card, bring it to Windy’s starting at 7:30 for a free drink and a chance to win $100 in Bonus Bucks! North Dakota High School Rodeo Finals June 7-11 One of the Chamber’s biggest undertakings each year is hosting the NDHSRF. This year there is an added event - Reining Cow Horse - which will be held on Wednesday evening. The rodeo committee and the office staff have been whittling away at the tasks on a very detailed checklist. Contestants and fans from across the state continue to have high praise for the Bowman business community, the rodeo volunteers, and the Chamber sponsorship that keeps them coming back. There are many opportunities during the rodeo for volunteers - let us know if you want to be part of an exciting event. More 2017 Events... Fireworks at Bowman-Haley Dam - July 3 Bowman Co. Fair Parade - July 16 Art & Wine Walk - Late September/Early October Farmer-Rancher Ag Banquet - October 25 Winter Ladies Night Out - November Christmas Promotions & Christmas Party - December Another huge event sponsored by the Chamber is our annual Summerfest. If you haven’t enjoyed this special day in the past, make plans to stop downtown and see what all the excitement is about. Rib Cookers from a wide area begin cooking early in the morning; 3-on-3 Basketball teams play from mid-morning until late afternoon; there are kids’ bouncy games and vendors on main street; and Chamber businesses have great specials and sidewalk sales during the day. Towards evening there are free stage performances, and the evening meal is provided by the Ribfest participants. To top off the evening there is a live band set up for a street dance. Summerfest - 3-on-3 Basketball - Ribfest July 29 Plans are underway for the 2017 Art & Wine Walk Retail Meeting will be held Thursday, May 4 at 5:30 p.m. at Has Beens. If you plan to participate, be sure to attend - come and share your ideas for making this event even better than last year’s! Many participating businesses are having special promotions each Friday before Ladies Night Out and expect great specials and deals on the 28th.
